Lots of comments putting this down- yes there is a lot of rubbish in the Christian circuit but not this which is a Biblical declaration- good musicianship and modest clothing- cant see anything wrong in this- no falling over barking, screeching, pagan mantra like repetition- this is wholesome praise.
I love most of Keith & Kristyn Getty's songs because most of them are slow and reverent and are actually being sung to the Lord from the heart. In this particular song, the drum is just too dominant, I have the same problem where I assemble myself to worship, that there are times when the drum overpowers the piano and organ, by being much louder, our church is a small one so money can be an issue, the plexiglass screen broke and has not been replaced. for me, all of the instruments should complement each other in harmony and loudness, but the drum depending on who is playing it all too often is just too loud too and domineering. I am all about the music and the singing as being from the heart in reverent worship of the Lord. I have begun to shy away from foot-stomping feel-good songs that tickle my fleshes fancy to the slower truly from the heart to the Lord songs that truly bring worship to Him... ua-cam.com/video/ur3q3B044Z0/v-deo.html the music and singing are not about what I feel or what I like as it did when I once listened to rock & roll, but what does God think of it, does it bring heartfelt praise and worship to Him, or does it just make me feel good?
