good job ! a nice and complete footage. Recommend to visit Barrancas de Belgrano ( BA ) and the first Statue of Liberty made by same Frederic Bartholdi, 25 days before inauguration of Liberty Statue from NY !!
10:47 The spanish called "Tigre" to a yaguareté (jaguar) that prowled the area, because they couldn't pronounce it. Same happend to our national rugby team, they are called Los Pumas, but their logo is also a jaguar. The thing is that english couldn't pronounce yaguareté neither. :)
Spanish also called beaver or even otter to coipos. They shoud better call it water rat. But there were real otters in the area. Like these examples are a lot of misnames around.
Hi there, very good video. All the buildings are from after the colonial time. Remember, in Argentina, it was not the same as in Mexico, we received european immigration when they arrived in the country it was almost empty with not much infrastructure, and they created almost everything after the 1850 decade.
According to the Spanish edition of Wikipedia, in Latin America it is common to refer to a jaguar as a ‘tigre’ (i.e., tiger). I guess that would explain the logo es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panthera_onca It didn’t seem like there was much to do in the city.
I know, I tried explaining the money situation in my Buenos Aires video. Even if I would’ve put out the price in euros for example it also wouldn’t be accurate to others, because of the rate changing so much 🥲

@@flacosolazzi6250 I guess you don’t know how to read.
With the crazy ever changing exchange rate we never know the true prices. Thought the Pasta was about 5 Euros which is about $6??
