One thing you didn’t find is that once Shadow Candy sets you an hour back, the origami cat disappears from your desk and is hidden somewhere on the cameras. Clicking it returns it to the desk as well as gives you your lost time back. In theory, that could mean you could just straight up finish the night if you went past what would have been 6am.
Relating to the extra power thing, I managed to finish Night 5 with 49% remaining. You could've cut the power IN HALF and I would've been able to squeeze a victory, despite the noticeably shorter 0% power death. [EDIT] NIGHT FIVE, SORRY! I just beat Night 6 actually, with around 35% remaining. And the Shadow Candy Night with... I think around the same? ~30 - 35% And, he(, she? It?) can take up to 8% power, not 6%.

the game itself LOOKS beautiful, but at the cost of being a little less scary. the original was really dark, and it was also in 4:3, which made the game way more claustrophobic, the cameras took a LOT of space in the screen

7/20 mode is only hard if you use the camera. The animatronics are so predictable at this point that you can make a pretty good guess of when they'll show up. (Thus, someone created the "no camera" strategy of beating 7/20 mode.)
I beat 7/20 without the camera and I don’t really think any1 created the no camera mode as it’s pretty obvious that it’s almost impossible to beat it with a camera and I did it with out searching up how to do it not trying to flex btw
I beat it with cameras really easily. Keep the left and right doors closed and open them to let the drainage meter reach 0. Basically keep resetting the amount of power the doors use. Then you can occasionally check blank.

i really want a fnaf game that makes you like an actual family diner owner and is going bankrupt, so the person is like trying to do everything at once, and you have to like buy power, so power consumption would actually be useful and not useless. also the forgotten theme sounds like it would be in hl opposing force and i love it
Actually, the higher the difficulty setting on the animatronics, the less RNG there is, let me explain. In pretty much every FNaF game, an animatronic is given a movement opportunity every couple seconds, from there, they roll a random number between 1-20. If the number rolled is lower than their AI level, they'll move on to their next room, if it's higher, they'll stay put. That means when an animatronic AI level is at 20, there's littlw RNG at play at all, they'll simply move at every opportunity given, with the only RNG in the original FNaF being which room they decide to go into. That also means that they'll automatically move away from the door is at the first possible opportunity as well, which acts as a nice balancing factor.
Am i the only one that find Candy and Cindy sincerely adorable? I mean, all the others have varying degrees of the creepy factor, and over in FNaF, the toys do look like toys, but to me don't really register as creepy or cute, but both Candy and Cindy are hard to be scared of, even in their jumpscares. they just make me go "daaaw"

I feel like making a fnaf fangame would be really fun, though I wouldnt want to half-ass it tbh. Fnaf would be such a fun game to kinda recreate as the initial game basics are so simple that you could put most of your energy into cosmetics and the animatronics. When I was 12 I was making a game on scratch called the storage. I was hoping for it to be big. I had all kind of original characters. I never finished it though, but I tried to bring it back with 3d graphics in 2017, but I never did that either.

It would have starred a character called devin derrith and it was a storage facility for a defunct restaurant, which would be owned by the same company that owns Freddy fazbears, which would actually be called Douglas robotics, which after the events of fnaf, bought out fnaf. The characters would be devin, Bonna the bunny, Polly the penguin, and Cody the biker croc. Also there would be the jester.
the shadow candy battle actually makes a lot of sense due to one of the events in fnac 3, where if you push the origami cat off the table, you get the secret end cutscene where the origami cat promises to haunt Mary's nightmares for the rest of her life, becoming an unwanted memory. maybe the shadow candy fight is a visual representation of her fighting that trauma. I'm probably not the first to think this, but if that was the battle's intention, then i think it's pretty safe to say that it succeeded with its symbolism.

Here's a question Why do ANY doors in a FNAF game need power _at all_ It's almost like these companies know there's murder bots in their restaurants. In the original I don't think I died ONCE until maybe Night 6. In the remaster I never died until night 7. In the original, the old animatronics can be seen in the door - the door looks... saturated when they are in the room? 🤔 It's weird, but noticeable. Also I didn't know about Shadow Candy. Neat ^^

a good idea for a tutorial for fnaf fan games is a skippable training video so veterans can skip past the tutorial and get right to it, while the new players can sit down and watch it
"more than just foxy" you need to use the cameras to stop freddy if he gets to that corner your done for so you need to slow him down as much as possible
Technically, you can just keep the camera on the corner and camstall freddy because you don’t need to look at pirate cove specifically. Takes care of freddy and foxy at the same time.

Did you know in the Original and Remastered they changed the penalty of lettin Penguin in, FNaC 1: Kill the power and Candy recks you with hardly any survival chance FNaC 1 Remastered: messes with you door controls helping you and ruining you, still able to survive the night but now Penguin will annoy you. Im going to be honest, I beat 7/20 in about 4 attempts using a really useful strategy. Leave camera on blank, close doors every time you check the camera, and open them when they reach half way through the usage meter. Once you master that strategy, which is quite easy, the game becomes really easy, and makes the game a bit more boring. I think this game is a bit too easy. It was the god forsaken secret night that was awful!

I would like a fnaf game that gives you the ability to buy upgrades to your office depending on how much power you leave (because it comes out of you wage or whatever, which makes a little more sense if you ask me).so you can give yourself a way to gain back 10% of your power with some kind of battery, more rotation with the cameras, etc.
I survived Night 6 with 2% power, honestly didn't find any other night waste so much, I usually survived with min 35% and I used the same strategy xD Must be the difficulty

Just beat 7/20 mode on FNAC:R; what i will say about it is that it is very highly luck-based. The entire course of your night is dictated by how nice Rat wants to be to you. Left-Rat is great, because it means you only have to worry about glow-animatronics and don't need to check the cameras (other than for blank). But, Right-Rat is super bad because you have to check for Old Candy via cameras as well. it sounds like a small thing, but that extra few seconds and percent are vital. I got a really lucky run and only had Right-Rat once. Old Candy snuck into my office at about halfway through 5 AM but he just never killed me. I even ran out of power about 5 seconds before the night ended and he just never jumped me.
3:57 I thought about this kinda-USB port and I think it's supposed to be controlling the night vision or something, there's no other way it would work (I guess) unless each camera has 2 video outputs (one with night vision, one without, but I don't know if this is even possible) and the monitor just changes between them, then it would explain why night vision takes more power (if in the first case, then it'd power up the night vision, in second case it'd take more power because tablet's screen is brighter), but I don't really know if this is true
The all 20 mode is suppose to be nearly impossible, which is why I like it. If you can't beat it, than you can just turn them all down a bit and play with that.
I want to make my own FNAF game, except it's like an RPG first-person where your on a plane, and the minigames are on TVS in random rooms. after you finish, your character will say something related to it. for the first, you say "Why would you converse with a robot?"
Just to say this quickly, the "keeping as much power as possible leaderboard" thing is greenrunning. There is a community about it, people getting world records and using intervals or going with your own eternal clock
According to FNAC 2, it was some events at the factory. (Maybe also including some non-animatronic murders at the actual locations). That may have caused the animatronics to be haunted. But most of the murders were done at the factory, where the souls were haunting the animatronics just as they were built. Hence the ‘fatal incidents’ mentioned in the Night 5 newspaper of FNAC 2.
being someone who uses ClickTeam Fusion, i know why people go with square screen its because its super fiddly to make widescreen games with the software and even i cant figure it out at all
there's just... something so unsettling about the rat in this game it's like with every other character, they have their cute little designs (the penguin is adorable) and even shadow candy and blank look somewhat okay. even the withered characters and their counter-parts from FNAF have their own silly traits that make them iconic but the rat looks like it was just MADE to be horrifying. from its pointed mouth to its blank, soulless eyes. its as if whoever designed the characters for the restaurant went mad and made his pure terrors into animatronic form. this is even exploited, where there are 3 instances throughout the franchise of his face being the only thing you can see on screen, the only thing conveyed absolute dread. its made worse by the fact there's a second one in FNAC 2. i don't know, just everything about his design unsettles me. great job macko
Something you didn't mention is that when you view Cam 13, even when the Rat is off, he still activates, giving you the opportunity to replay the previous nights with the Rat activated.
Not to mention FNaC Happened during the Shut Down of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza: the Grand Reopening when Phone Guy Mentions it, and in the Game Over screen

I kinda love how the FNAF 3 fan-game that stole Candy The Cat later evolved into The Return to Freddy's, what I consider to be one of the few grandpa's of the FNAF fan-game communities. That series is real old.

In the original I don't think I died ONCE until maybe Night 6.
In the remaster I never died until night 7.
In the original, the old animatronics can be seen in the door - the door looks... saturated when they are in the room? 🤔 It's weird, but noticeable.

I can’t be the only one who played the remaster without looking at the ; left door, right door and blank’s room. I mean of course I needed to use other cameras for Shadow Candy’s night but that was the exception.

Technically, you can just keep the camera on the corner and camstall freddy because you don’t need to look at pirate cove specifically.

FNaC 1 Remastered: messes with you door controls helping you and ruining you, still able to survive the night but now Penguin will annoy you. Good idea
Im going to be honest, I beat 7/20 in about 4 attempts using a really useful strategy. Leave camera on blank, close doors every time you check the camera, and open them when they reach half way through the usage meter. Once you master that strategy, which is quite easy, the game becomes really easy, and makes the game a bit more boring. I think this game is a bit too easy.

I would like a fnaf game that gives you the ability to buy upgrades to your office depending on how much power you leave (because it comes out of you wage or whatever, which makes a little more sense if you ask me).so you can give yourself a way to gain back 10% of your power with some kind of battery, more rotation with the cameras, etc.

fun fact,that crappy fnaf 3 fan made game was then changed to the return to freddy's and sugar which was the stolen candy was removed,this series would spawn an amazingly good and original series that when it came to the last entry,the return to freddy's 5,was never finished,sugar was actually turned in an original animatronic and another animatronic was inspired called kitty fazcat,there is a revived version of the last game called the return to freddy's 5 resurrection,check it out,it's amazing

Just beat 7/20 mode on FNAC:R; what i will say about it is that it is very highly luck-based. The entire course of your night is dictated by how nice Rat wants to be to you. Left-Rat is great, because it means you only have to worry about glow-animatronics and don't need to check the cameras (other than for blank). But, Right-Rat is super bad because you have to check for Old Candy via cameras as well. it sounds like a small thing, but that extra few seconds and percent are vital. I got a really lucky run and only had Right-Rat once. Old Candy snuck into my office at about halfway through 5 AM but he just never killed me. I even ran out of power about 5 seconds before the night ended and he just never jumped me.

It's cool it added shadow candy showing that the forgotten ending is most likely cannon especially with the origami cat didipearing when candy attacks

3:57 I thought about this kinda-USB port and I think it's supposed to be controlling the night vision or something, there's no other way it would work (I guess) unless each camera has 2 video outputs (one with night vision, one without, but I don't know if this is even possible) and the monitor just changes between them, then it would explain why night vision takes more power (if in the first case, then it'd power up the night vision, in second case it'd take more power because tablet's screen is brighter), but I don't really know if this is true

According to FNAC 2, it was some events at the factory. (Maybe also including some non-animatronic murders at the actual locations). That may have caused the animatronics to be haunted. But most of the murders were done at the factory, where the souls were haunting the animatronics just as they were built. Hence the ‘fatal incidents’ mentioned in the Night 5 newspaper of FNAC 2.

there's just... something so unsettling about the rat in this game
it's like with every other character, they have their cute little designs (the penguin is adorable) and even shadow candy and blank look somewhat okay. even the withered characters and their counter-parts from FNAF have their own silly traits that make them iconic
but the rat looks like it was just MADE to be horrifying. from its pointed mouth to its blank, soulless eyes. its as if whoever designed the characters for the restaurant went mad and made his pure terrors into animatronic form. this is even exploited, where there are 3 instances throughout the franchise of his face being the only thing you can see on screen, the only thing conveyed absolute dread. its made worse by the fact there's a second one in FNAC 2.
i don't know, just everything about his design unsettles me. great job macko
