Very interesting and useful however I am confused by one aspect of your installation. The sub-title said to point the roof gland and cable towards the back of the van but your installation appeared to show the opposite (based upon the angle of openning of the roof light). Would you please clarify? I expect I misunderstood.
Hi sorry for the delay responding. The Installation was carried out on a caravan so the open heki roof light is actually at the front and the glad is being installed towards the rear but I can see it does look odd.
Hi sorry for the delay responding. The model shown in this video is now obsolete but its replacement does come with a two coax twin LNB for use with multiple receivers or a single Sky+ PVR receiver. I hope this answers your question.
He very nearly drilled the pilot hol vertically. Seriously, those adhesive pads aren't goint to stay put, he should have used plastic trunking and the adhesive he used to secure dome, (Sika) it would look tidier too and the cables wouldn't suffer from weathering/sun..

All roof lights hinge from the front just as this does, how can you be confused over this....
Does that dish pick up sky ? Can you run twin coax so that you can record as well as watch tv?

The cable gland is facing the front of the van .. the way it should be.
Informative, but lost Sound part way through.
