I've been white for 35, going on 36 years now, and I remember my dad sitting me down when I was 15 or so and he told me, son, if you ever get stopped by the police, it is so important that you do exactly what they tell you to do. The prevailing idea is that you and I may differ in almost every regard of life, but we choose to be united as Americans, respecting each other’s differences, and allowing people to live their lives.
It’s not like that now... now people can be assaulted for having different beliefs. It’s not enough that one disagrees with someone else’s opinion, they must be punished in some way (I.e., physically hurt, fired from their job, shamed in social media, etc.). That is no way to get along in a free society... that is more like the authoritarian societies (I.e., USSR, China under Mao, Pol Pot in Cambodia, China and HK right now, North Korea, ... to name a few). Those societies all had (and have) groups of people abused and mistreated for disagreeing with the prevailing authority.
We are on the track to becoming a more authoritative country, and I don’t agree with that at all.
It's meant to divide AND distract the people. There are issues that are more complex than cannot be solved by inflicting hate towards and blaming cops.

As someone who grew up in a community that was 90 percent black I can speak on this. The vast majority of the black community are decent hard working people. They don't break the law, and they don't fear the cops. Every person I grew up with don't see this country as a land of injustice. Why? Because like every other racial community they have jobs, own businesses, have families, and don't break the law. This man is crying because the mob tells him he has to. The last time I cried like this was watching Kirks game film when he played for OSU.
God he was terrible. I rewatched a bowl game when they played Georgia or Auburn. He was 100 percent the reason they lost. He threw a horrible interception. Missed open receivers all game 😂. He was absolutely horrible. I think they lost 24-17 and he was the worst player on the field.
