I used to be 6'3" 270 lbs, but by controlling my meal portion size and walking everyday (getting a dog helps), I lost 70 lbs. It was wild to see a six-pack again after years without it. No hate; I just want everyone to live a long life with positive body image and mobility.

I realize this is a very old video. I’m very new to this whole firearm and gear type equipment. I was someone who didn’t care about gear or firearms until about a year ago. I was almost robbed by four men where i use to live in a big southern city in Georgia. A man with a pistol came to my rescue as I was just about being kicked unconscious. I owe that man a lot. I’m a big fellow 6’5” 330 which doesn’t a thing but I saw this review of this plate carrier and I’m working on dropping the weight and getting as much training as I can as I am now a ccw holder and a man who shoots every weekend and trains. Like I said I’m very new to this and have taken 3 firearms training classes so far and plan to never stop. Thank you for this video. I have a better idea of how this is going to fit until I can get something a little better.

I’m a 2X guy and I have two plate carriers that I’m working on getting to fit. I used to be in the military A LONG TIME AGO and was a lot smaller but with age sometimes comes some weight. Thanks for sharing. P.S. I’m also a new subscriber.

I think the idea behind the holster is so you can always have easy access to your pistol. If your sitting in a vehicle and have your gun on your hip you might have a harder time grabbing it. But if its on your plate carrier its gonna be much easier

If you wanted a US made carrier you would have to pay four times the price. For occasional use condor carriers are very well made, I was pleasantly surprised. For me and the limited use, condor is a great option and serves my purposes perfectly. Great vid and review.
Came here because I bought this carrier in a lot on ebay to use in airsoft. I'm big, so seeing that it fits you comfortably makes me feel comfortable and thst I made a good purchase
Thanks for this one man,I just found you,as a bigger dude I appreciate someone telling me what works and doesn’t before I waste money..I’ve been looking for someone with a good heavy duty machine to alter some of my gear to make it fit a little better. I saw someone say it in comments but it’s true if anyone needs armor it a dude that’s not running far!(although I’ve seen some big dudes that move like a mofo) back in the day playing football I could but need to work on that.
I just got this one. Not fat but I’m 6’1 260 half Polynesian with giant pecks,traps and shoulders. This thing fits real nice over my soft armor and a jacket with room to spare.
I’m 6”3 290 and going to be a cop, but I wanna train with armor on, I have the condor plate carrier you have but I have level 3 and 4 plates, currently I have 3 In, but I will put 4 in if I have too.
As a plate carrier newbie, I needed this video to give me the basic idea before inserting the plates. Although I've got a whole different brand name carrier, this video helped me out a lot, and the demo was perfect for me. Subscribed, and thanks, BG.
Good point about the curved plates. I bought one with a curve and one without. I find the curved plate is a much better fit. I'm a bigger guy to and the difference in fit and feel is substantial. Spend the money and get the curved.
+jspang31 Would you recommend the curved for the back as well or is it more for the front plate? Im 6'2 and 290 so I have also had some concerns about fit before buying a carrier and plates.
joseph bailey, go with the curved for the front ONLY and flat for your back. A curved rear plate WILL gouge the edges into your skin unless you have the EXACT same curvature as the plate. Even "skinny" folks don't fit very well with a curved back plate. Not yo say NONE fit good but the typical human upper torso isn't curved like the AR500 plates are. Hope this helps if it isn't too old of information. SOMEbody will be reading this down the line and may be able to glean some helpful information. Good Luck.

I originally had the gunner plate carrier by condor. It was always too small and finally purchased the gen II EXO PLATE CARRIER I found balcs/spear DOD soft armor and installed it. Picking up plates in 2 weeks. Level III+ CERAMICS
Yeah there is a system the US military uses and there is a hanger you can attatch there with more molle and an integral pocket that is designed to cover the space between your plate carrier and battle belt, I believe in the military version it has soft armor in it instead of just the regular padding but its part a system and uses the side SAPI plate and then you can hang the groin protecto from the stomach module

Thanks for the video and time/work you place into it. I myself am 5'11" at 250 lbs , I know I'm just a pip squeak, but I went XL on the plate carrier and on the AR500 plates 11x14 front plate curved and rear plate flat. Why ??? I have back problems and with the rear plate being flat it actually feels comfortable. But the point I wanted to make here is sure I got it a tad bit to big but I LOVE EATING and catching a bullet in my stomach GOD forbid would put a big damper on me enjoying my favorite HOBBY, EATING ( : P.S. The plates are freaking heavy this must count to burning some major calories wouldn't you agree.

I actually ordered one from Galls but it is on backorder. If it doesn't fit I will be ordering this one. My plates are on order from AR500 and I ordered the curved plates. I also ordered the trauma pads although not sure if they are needed. Any experience with them?

4:30 I run my pistol on my belt as well but only while I’m up and moving around i have a second minimalistic holster on my carrier for when I’m in a vehicle because It’s hard to operate a rifle like you can a pistol in confined spaces so having a pistol on your chest instead of belt while in a seated position is very practical makes getting to the weapon much easier but if I’m not seated the pistol goes right back in my belt holster
Myself being a large human, I’m curious to how big you are to compare? I’m 6’3” 335 lbs currently wear 4XLT jacket sometimes 3XLT or 5XLT depending on manufacturers

I'm 6ft 270lbs I bought this, and it fits. Honestly I could likely have just gone with a Large, but I wanted to be safe. Its very adjustable so if your big guy go ahead and buy this.
How tall are you? Because just because your fat doesn't mean you need a 11x14. I'm 380 5'10 and a 10x12 works fine for my killzone. My weight doesn't change the position of my organs
im 5 9 tall 150lb had the smaller plate carrier sold it bought the L to XL carrier and got a 11 14 curved up front 11 14 flat in back i like the fit much better soft in both sides .

Shawn M, if you are still trying to put together another group buy for the 500 pcs of the carriers, add me to the list of willing to buy one. When I bought my PC and armor, I got it when AR500 had a sale going on. It came with PC, 2 each 2X M4 mag pouches and 2 each single pistol mags and a universal pistol holster plus one curved and one flat Level III coated plates. Gotta love 'em, heavy or not! Not too fond of the pistol being on my chest and wish it had capability to change over to a hip mounted holster. Not a deal killer, though. Additionally, my PC doesn't have the "Band" type cumberbund, meaning large flaps. Mine has strap type affairs for side plate carriers (or use as small admin pouches), covered with MOLLE straps and cinch strings that take up excess material. It secures on the lower back PC pouch with a wide band of Velcro. (Hope I NEVER have to don or doff the gear on a stealth-required AO. AIN'T gonna happen since the Velcro is NOISY!! LOL) It's a bit lighter as a result, allows more flexibility for us "Full-Figured" boys AND is cooler since less material encloses our, um, Love Handles, if you know what I mean. ;-) All in all, I'm happy with my gear and discovered that having the curved FRONT plate makes fitting and comfort MUCH better than flat up front. Conversely, FLAT are better on the back so the curved edges don't dig into the side areas where the curved plates would rest against your skin. Makes a WORLD of difference when sitting in a vehicle with your back pushed on a seat back, troop carrier wall, etc. Trust me on this. I'm a "Big Boy" too, and got to actually try out both style plates, front and rear, at the actual Home Office for AR500 in Phoenix, AZ. Ok this is running on too long so I'll close in thanking the video posting Big Gunner (I think) for creating this video. It's long overdue and MUCH appreciated, I assure you! If I can offer any advice, feel free to holler at me. I'm a Disabled Vet (U.S. Army, 78-82), former Deputy Sheriff with Haz/Mat background as well as medical experience (EMT) when I was a cop. Been shooting, reloading, hunting, fishing, camping, rock climbing and repelling and generally anything to do outdoors and especially with adrenaline (!!!!) for over 50 years now. Haven't done everything there is to do but ain't much I've missed, either. And as you can see, I'm not afraid to speak my mind and make suggestions. BigGunner81 keep doing ya thing big dog I just ordered me one of these today off eBay and 3 4x 223-5.56 Molle mag pouches in black! I've been looking for something like this that didn't break my wallet and I think this will work nicely, I'm a big dude myself!
I still have my plate carrier from contracting. Crazy how it doesn't fit after putting an extra hundred pounds on 😅 but mine was also a Condor (heavy use when I got it but paid to bring it home without plates) and it does the job. I'll have to resize it but for what it is it will do the job. Its just a very basic no frills plate carrier/load bearing rig that can help you carry the extra 40-70 pounds of lightweight gear you need into the fray.
@@BigGunner81TV fyi another option available to overweight guys (im one myself) is the voodoo tactical plate carrier that has just straps over shoulders and on sides. it fits up to 5xl shirts, i use it with lvl3 curved steel plates and its curved perfect for my outta shape body =)

Your video was what I needed to decide. I've been looking at Condor carriers, but was scared to pull the trigger. But not anymore. Condor needs to send you the commission on this. You sold me. Thanks for the video! I have been trying to get an idea for a carrier size and being a big guy. I still have to decide on hard or soft armor since one is lighter than the other but still offers protection. How is it working out with your accessories on it and your mobility? Just came across your video. Im a 3xl guy. I live in the northwest. The cummerbund barley fits right over my summer gear. Im having to extend it for winter clothes. I was told by a guy that im to big. I told him i still need the armor and that im covering 5 to 9 miles on foot a day in the mountains. He said then i should lose weight. Hmmmm guess i might when i get old and really slow down. Im 63 now. Ill make or modify the one that came with me armor vest. JMHO
I like the ballsy nature of putting out a "fat guy wearing a plate carrier video" (which I found looking for a specific picture and going down an internet rabbithole). Kudos on that. A few things here though: 1) Generally speaking I wouldn't buy this stuff online until you've tried it on. There are a lot of stores that sell this kind of thing so just Google a gun shop in your local area that sells body armor or call an local gun store and ask them who does sell it. Try before you buy with both the carrier and the plates. Generally a store that sells a lot of this has some knowledgeable folks who will know what's adjustable and how adjustable and you can mix and match stuff until you find the right setup. IME they're pretty helpful and I'm sure they'd help you too. If their prices are not competitive then haggle with them on the web price, or just use them to try it out and then buy the same thing online. 2) I am not nor have I ever been fat but I do change clothes with the season so a couple things here. Keep in mind that you should be able to breath fairly easily in this thing but you don't want it lose either. Tighten it up to the point you can draw about 90% breath to break it in. 2.1) The fit of the rig will change as you wear it over time. Break that sucker in like you would a pair of boots. Set it up the way you want it, playing with it to find that "right" set up, and then wear it around the house or out for a walk or whatever you need to do but break it in WITH plates and pouches on it. As it gets broken in make your strap adjustments. 2.2) Once it's broken in be aware that changing clothes or losing or gaining weight will change how it fits. So figure out what you'd be likely to wear under it. Summer t-shirt, winter sweatshirt etc and then put it on, adjust it properly and mark the straps with a sharpie. Then put on your other clothing and mark it again. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Now you can quickly adjust it to pre-set sizes depending on your clothing and you don't have to spend time figuring out the adjustments every fall/spring/summer/winter. 2.3) Keep in mind what the plates are meant to do. The top edge of the front plate should be about even with your collar bones to ensure that it covers your vitals and the back plate should be horizontally even with that. To high or too low and it's not comfortable and it's not covering what it needs to cover. You can live without a kidney, a heart... not so much. Make sure your adjustments are keeping the plates in the right place and not letting them sag or ride up. Otherwise it's uncomfortable AND useless. 3) Be aware that wearing these things for a long period of time isn't comfortable for anyone and, no offense, I doubt it's comfortable at all for you larger folks. Wear it, break it in, get your body used to it. They get hot, they restrict your movement, they're heavy compared to normal clothing etc. Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Otherwise you won't wear it and a PC that just sits in your closet is a waste of money. 4) I recommend these things as a dual use for losing some weight here guys. Sorry, it's not healthy to be huge like this BUT the carrier can help. Wear it around the house and, fully loaded it will add like 25lbs to you. Doing some housework or going for a walk suddenly becomes a bit of exercise and remember small gains + time = great results. You larger guys probably won't notice the weight increase, at least I sort of assume you wouldn't, but it's there and it's forcing every muscle you have to work harder which in burning more fat. Do your housework and shit wearing one. It breaks in the carrier in all the odd little ways we move and will help you out in the long term too. 5) I would do some research on these things in terms of the strike face. I don't know all that much about AR500's armor but I do know a thing or two about spall and physics. If you've got a gut that angles the plate wrong this thing may simply direct the round, particularly a pistol round, up under your chin rather than stopping it and trapping the spall in the coating. Check that out before you start thinking this is a good investment, unless you're looking to use it to get active and lose the gut, in which case once you've done that the armor will function as designed and you'll be healthier and happier too and it's a great investment. 6) If you do lose or gain a significant amount of weight, and you grabbed the right size plates, your plate size won't change because your ribcage size won't change, so you'll probably be able to swap to a different PC if that becomes and issue. Remember, you don't want the plates flopping around on you. Good luck guys, and again, kudos on a ballsy video.
My issue is not my waist size, but that my traps are large from heaving lifting, so I have to loosen the top straps to the near end. When I buy dress shirts, I have to go like 3xl and the have to remove sleeves and bring n the waste. So here I just got the vest AR500 without the plates and it sides up high. I have level 4 plates coming in, if they are too thick, my wife will get them and I'll get steel plates.

I realize this is a very old video. I’m very new to this whole firearm and gear type equipment. I was someone who didn’t care about gear or firearms until about a year ago. I was almost robbed by four men where i use to live in a big southern city in Georgia. A man with a pistol came to my rescue as I was just about being kicked unconscious. I owe that man a lot. I’m a big fellow 6’5” 330 which doesn’t a thing but I saw this review of this plate carrier and I’m working on dropping the weight and getting as much training as I can as I am now a ccw holder and a man who shoots every weekend and trains. Like I said I’m very new to this and have taken 3 firearms training classes so far and plan to never stop. Thank you for this video. Wrap the basic plate with 2 rolls of Gorilla tape and works better than the build up and is cheaper and replaceable
I’m a 2X guy and I have two plate carriers that I’m working on getting to fit.
I used to be in the military A LONG TIME AGO and was a lot smaller but with age sometimes comes some weight.

Got the same combo from them curved on front flat on back. Been looking for maybe some side armor for it and also a fat guy under shirt carrier.
I think the idea behind the holster is so you can always have easy access to your pistol. If your sitting in a vehicle and have your gun on your hip you might have a harder time grabbing it. But if its on your plate carrier its gonna be much easier

If you wanted a US made carrier you would have to pay four times the price. For occasional use condor carriers are very well made, I was pleasantly surprised. For me and the limited use, condor is a great option and serves my purposes perfectly. Great vid and review.

I just got this one. Not fat but I’m 6’1 260 half Polynesian with giant pecks,traps and shoulders. This thing fits real nice over my soft armor and a jacket with room to spare.
The attachment pieces on the bottom of the carrier is for a groin plate carrier
I’m 6”3 290 and going to be a cop, but I wanna train with armor on, I have the condor plate carrier you have but I have level 3 and 4 plates, currently I have 3 In, but I will put 4 in if I have too.
As a plate carrier newbie, I needed this video to give me the basic idea before inserting the plates. Although I've got a whole different brand name carrier, this video helped me out a lot, and the demo was perfect for me. Subscribed, and thanks, BG.

Good point about the curved plates. I bought one with a curve and one without. I find the curved plate is a much better fit. I'm a bigger guy to and the difference in fit and feel is substantial. Spend the money and get the curved.

joseph bailey, go with the curved for the front ONLY and flat for your back.
A curved rear plate WILL gouge the edges into your skin unless you have the EXACT same curvature as the plate. Even "skinny" folks don't fit very well with a curved back plate. Not yo say NONE fit good but the typical human upper torso isn't curved like the AR500 plates are.

I originally had the gunner plate carrier by condor. It was always too small and finally purchased the gen II EXO PLATE CARRIER
I found balcs/spear DOD soft armor and installed it. Picking up plates in 2 weeks. Level III+ CERAMICS
Ive had that vest for close to 13 years. Still in good shape.
Just a thought on the front carrier Molle inside on the bottom, might be for a groin protector plate or similar idea.
Yeah there is a system the US military uses and there is a hanger you can attatch there with more molle and an integral pocket that is designed to cover the space between your plate carrier and battle belt, I believe in the military version it has soft armor in it instead of just the regular padding but its part a system and uses the side SAPI plate and then you can hang the groin protecto from the stomach module

I myself am 5'11" at 250 lbs , I know I'm just a pip squeak, but I went XL on the plate carrier and on the AR500 plates 11x14 front plate curved and rear plate flat. Why ??? I have back problems and with the rear plate being flat it actually feels comfortable. But the point I wanted to make here is sure I got it a tad bit to big but I LOVE EATING and catching a bullet in my stomach GOD forbid would put a big damper on me enjoying my favorite HOBBY, EATING ( : P.S. The plates are freaking heavy this must count to burning some major calories wouldn't you agree.

I also ordered the trauma pads although not sure if they are needed. Any experience with them?

4:30 I run my pistol on my belt as well but only while I’m up and moving around i have a second minimalistic holster on my carrier for when I’m in a vehicle because It’s hard to operate a rifle like you can a pistol in confined spaces so having a pistol on your chest instead of belt while in a seated position is very practical makes getting to the weapon much easier but if I’m not seated the pistol goes right back in my belt holster

The padding is used by air soft shooters, it does offer some protection from the plates.

How tall are you? Because just because your fat doesn't mean you need a 11x14. I'm 380 5'10 and a 10x12 works fine for my killzone. My weight doesn't change the position of my organs
im 5 9 tall 150lb had the smaller plate carrier sold it bought the L to XL carrier and got a 11 14 curved up front 11 14 flat in back i like the fit much better soft in both sides .

When I bought my PC and armor, I got it when AR500 had a sale going on. It came with PC, 2 each 2X M4 mag pouches and 2 each single pistol mags and a universal pistol holster plus one curved and one flat Level III coated plates. Gotta love 'em, heavy or not!
Not too fond of the pistol being on my chest and wish it had capability to change over to a hip mounted holster. Not a deal killer, though.
Additionally, my PC doesn't have the "Band" type cumberbund, meaning large flaps. Mine has strap type affairs for side plate carriers (or use as small admin pouches), covered with MOLLE straps and cinch strings that take up excess material. It secures on the lower back PC pouch with a wide band of Velcro. (Hope I NEVER have to don or doff the gear on a stealth-required AO. AIN'T gonna happen since the Velcro is NOISY!! LOL)
It's a bit lighter as a result, allows more flexibility for us "Full-Figured" boys AND is cooler since less material encloses our, um, Love Handles, if you know what I mean. ;-)
All in all, I'm happy with my gear and discovered that having the curved FRONT plate makes fitting and comfort MUCH better than flat up front.
Conversely, FLAT are better on the back so the curved edges don't dig into the side areas where the curved plates would rest against your skin. Makes a WORLD of difference when sitting in a vehicle with your back pushed on a seat back, troop carrier wall, etc. Trust me on this. I'm a "Big Boy" too, and got to actually try out both style plates, front and rear, at the actual Home Office for AR500 in Phoenix, AZ.

I still have my plate carrier from contracting. Crazy how it doesn't fit after putting an extra hundred pounds on 😅 but mine was also a Condor (heavy use when I got it but paid to bring it home without plates) and it does the job. I'll have to resize it but for what it is it will do the job. Its just a very basic no frills plate carrier/load bearing rig that can help you carry the extra 40-70 pounds of lightweight gear you need into the fray.

fyi another option available to overweight guys (im one myself) is the voodoo tactical plate carrier that has just straps over shoulders and on sides. it fits up to 5xl shirts, i use it with lvl3 curved steel plates and its curved perfect for my outta shape body =)

Seriously, tho', I've been looking for the right plate carrier for a few months. It's not like you can go out and try several of these on. Your video was what I needed to decide. I've been looking at Condor carriers, but was scared to pull the trigger. But not anymore. Condor needs to send you the commission on this. You sold me. Yeah, I'm not real crazy about the China thing, but I think American and Chinese companies got a wakeup call, just recently, AAMOF, heh heh!!!

Just came across your video. Im a 3xl guy. I live in the northwest. The cummerbund barley fits right over my summer gear. Im having to extend it for winter clothes. I was told by a guy that im to big. I told him i still need the armor and that im covering 5 to 9 miles on foot a day in the mountains. He said then i should lose weight. Hmmmm guess i might when i get old and really slow down. Im 63 now. Ill make or modify the one that came with me armor vest. JMHO

Just found your channel. Good video. I found condor products to be great for general range use. They are pretty durable and cheap enough to replace..
I like the ballsy nature of putting out a "fat guy wearing a plate carrier video" (which I found looking for a specific picture and going down an internet rabbithole). Kudos on that.
A few things here though:
1) Generally speaking I wouldn't buy this stuff online until you've tried it on. There are a lot of stores that sell this kind of thing so just Google a gun shop in your local area that sells body armor or call an local gun store and ask them who does sell it. Try before you buy with both the carrier and the plates. Generally a store that sells a lot of this has some knowledgeable folks who will know what's adjustable and how adjustable and you can mix and match stuff until you find the right setup. IME they're pretty helpful and I'm sure they'd help you too. If their prices are not competitive then haggle with them on the web price, or just use them to try it out and then buy the same thing online.
2) I am not nor have I ever been fat but I do change clothes with the season so a couple things here.
Keep in mind that you should be able to breath fairly easily in this thing but you don't want it lose either. Tighten it up to the point you can draw about 90% breath to break it in.
2.1) The fit of the rig will change as you wear it over time. Break that sucker in like you would a pair of boots. Set it up the way you want it, playing with it to find that "right" set up, and then wear it around the house or out for a walk or whatever you need to do but break it in WITH plates and pouches on it. As it gets broken in make your strap adjustments.
2.2) Once it's broken in be aware that changing clothes or losing or gaining weight will change how it fits. So figure out what you'd be likely to wear under it. Summer t-shirt, winter sweatshirt etc and then put it on, adjust it properly and mark the straps with a sharpie. Then put on your other clothing and mark it again. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Now you can quickly adjust it to pre-set sizes depending on your clothing and you don't have to spend time figuring out the adjustments every fall/spring/summer/winter.
2.3) Keep in mind what the plates are meant to do. The top edge of the front plate should be about even with your collar bones to ensure that it covers your vitals and the back plate should be horizontally even with that. To high or too low and it's not comfortable and it's not covering what it needs to cover. You can live without a kidney, a heart... not so much. Make sure your adjustments are keeping the plates in the right place and not letting them sag or ride up. Otherwise it's uncomfortable AND useless.
3) Be aware that wearing these things for a long period of time isn't comfortable for anyone and, no offense, I doubt it's comfortable at all for you larger folks. Wear it, break it in, get your body used to it. They get hot, they restrict your movement, they're heavy compared to normal clothing etc. Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Otherwise you won't wear it and a PC that just sits in your closet is a waste of money.
4) I recommend these things as a dual use for losing some weight here guys. Sorry, it's not healthy to be huge like this BUT the carrier can help. Wear it around the house and, fully loaded it will add like 25lbs to you. Doing some housework or going for a walk suddenly becomes a bit of exercise and remember small gains + time = great results. You larger guys probably won't notice the weight increase, at least I sort of assume you wouldn't, but it's there and it's forcing every muscle you have to work harder which in burning more fat. Do your housework and shit wearing one. It breaks in the carrier in all the odd little ways we move and will help you out in the long term too.
5) I would do some research on these things in terms of the strike face. I don't know all that much about AR500's armor but I do know a thing or two about spall and physics. If you've got a gut that angles the plate wrong this thing may simply direct the round, particularly a pistol round, up under your chin rather than stopping it and trapping the spall in the coating. Check that out before you start thinking this is a good investment, unless you're looking to use it to get active and lose the gut, in which case once you've done that the armor will function as designed and you'll be healthier and happier too and it's a great investment.
6) If you do lose or gain a significant amount of weight, and you grabbed the right size plates, your plate size won't change because your ribcage size won't change, so you'll probably be able to swap to a different PC if that becomes and issue. Remember, you don't want the plates flopping around on you.

My issue is not my waist size, but that my traps are large from heaving lifting, so I have to loosen the top straps to the near end. When I buy dress shirts, I have to go like 3xl and the have to remove sleeves and bring n the waste. So here I just got the vest AR500 without the plates and it sides up high. I have level 4 plates coming in, if they are too thick, my wife will get them and I'll get steel plates.

Hey bud, big guy here... can I ask what size shirt you're wearing when you made this? I'm interested in getting this carrier, and i've heard it fits bigger than an xl size would. Their sizing seems a bit confusing to normal clothing sizes but you look about the same size as me. Thanks.
I believe at that time I was in a 4xl, but I could wear 3xl (snug) and 5xl would be a little loose fitting.....

Search Spartan Legion carriers they go up to 4x. I’m a Xl-2X and that thing was huge on me when I tried it on and it’s quality plus it fits 11x14. Comes in multiple colors.

The molle inside the plate carrier is for a groin protector it’s a Kevlar piece that hangs over your twig and berries
