Nice work! Always glad to see someone appreciate these lost gems. That buzzer is your “arrive” alarm. The trip computer puts .3 miles till arrival every time you reset the battery. That’s why it says arrive in the clock.

I started playing with carbon fiber. Bought an old steering wheel for my 18 sti to wrap. Pain in the ass. I’m almost done.. also caught the Ernest reference. Best one was Ernest goes to camp. I’m an east coast bmx guy. Rip Dave Mirra.

I was messaging a guy and we got to talking about ef civic and he said he had pic's of the paradise slammer's si!! he said he was going to look for them and send me a msg. I sure hope he does. that car is the single reason I got into Hondas and was 1 of a handful of modified civics in our area. I only discovered it was your because I worked with Kevin from paradise. mini-truck Kevin. awesome memories and still to this day you're building the coolest cars. big influence on me and I thank you for that. freakin' xt subie-how much cooler could it get. not much. hope you and the family are well. I dying to see this thing come together. its going to be hard to beat the brat on the bitchin'-ness scale. cheers

Oh ya I forgot to mention if you want the back low on the ground you have to have me make your rear top hats forth at allow your 08 sti coilovers to work. And no I used the xt6 stuff in my 85 rx turbo sedan. With a 06 sti stuffed inside and 08 coils

I love seeing this thing come together! Those wheels turned out better than I expected, the gold is nice and the fitment is really good. I also like the Fifteen52 Analog, I would have been tempted to do an aero disc type like that, or a 3-spoke like an Advan Oni or A3A depending on what actually fits the hubs but that's just subjective opinion stuff. Cracks me up every time the doors open to see those seatbelt runners still working, what a rad era.

Only thing the xt6 is good for is the rear hubs and front control arms to do the 5 lug swap. 08 sti coil overs fit on them with new rear top hats

I almost got an xt for my first car in the 90’s
I'm a little hurt that you said the rims I picked out for that car were ugly. I loved those rims! LOL! I just have one question for you, bro; air-ride suspension was what made those cars cool and different. Why would you swap it out? When you show it around, that's the first thing people are going to ask you. They'll say, "yo, Bucky! You got the air-ride?" You're gonna have to say, "nah, bro. I swapped it." They'll be like, "oh..." all dissappointed and what not.
Good luck getting it to work, it sucked when it was new. 🤣
