A week. Think about it: if you really clean yourself well in the shower, you're only wiping clean water away with a towel. If you make sure to hang it up and dry it well, it'll last way longer than 2 days. Come on, Ryan lol!
I have been watching your videos for a couple months now. I finally got a 4k screen, and watching this in 4k is amazing. Now I have to go back and re-watch a lot of your videos lol.
i'm truly loving this BC Series and all of your collaborations. Calgary weather sucks right now and its about to get worse tonight. I am missing riding so much already. Keep up the good work dude.
For how mucky it was you did a nice job of camera work and not having mud on the lens. Another amazing video by the Loam Ranger, this series might just have changed summer vacation plans for next year.
Thanks David! Yup, pure luck that the lens wasn't totally covered the whole time. Well, the Mucky Nutz fender certainly helped :D I'll definitely be getting out there again next year!
There is steep and then there is Kootney steep... usually when its dry the traction is amazing there but wet whoa nelly. Nice riding guys. Still recall riding the vein and paper bag years ago on my XC hardtail, most time I've ever spent behind my seat.
I've crashed hard coming in too hot on the roller between the trees in wet conditions (12:50). Lost the front wheel and landed head first between the big stump and the rock. Saw stars.
On your gimble are you able to decrease or turn off some of the stabilization on any of the axis? I would be nice to see more of the rotation while you are going through the burms and such. I think it is taking a lot away from the perceived speed we are seeing in the video. Great stuff regardless, just my thought.
Rode Coleman AB > Fernie > Nelson > Kelowna a few years ago and this easily was the best place to ride. The climb to the top of Powerslave was a bitch though. Sure wish there was a pay shuttle in Nelson (maybe there is and I couldn't find it). I'd pay $20 for a ride to the top of Powerslave in a heartbeat.
Super impressive riding! Steep and wet means you're just along for the ride, control is out of the question!!!! You guys are a great team, funny, articulate, knowledgeable, and very entertaining! Serious gravity defying acrobatics going on here! Thoroughly good video! Whoever the deadbeats are that gave a thumbs down for this video ought to be forced to go ride these same trails, in the same conditions! They probably can't even spell mountain bike much less ride one!!! Really liked this one. Nothing but respect to y'all! Btw, how did you like the 170 crank arms compared to the 175??? Notice any difference at all???
@@TheLoamRanger This is going to make me look terrible, but I'm Nelson born and raised, met some famous bikers..... I've never been mountain biking before heh
ah man son of a B&*ch freaking crank!!!! sorry bro thats suck donkey nuts. glad you got sorted. awesome vid.... soooo loving B.C all the way from South Africa. thanks for the adventure.
The look of your videos is really, really unique and cool. I can see the same with BKXCs videos. There's something about it that makes it possible to immediately recognize videos from him!
I’m new here man loved the video!Personally first trail guy looked like he was slowing you down keep that in mind! Also try hit some of the optional little jumpy features or bigger ones next time as you kept missing them.Except from that AWESOME!

What up boy
Helped me a lot doing something decent with the Hero4!
How do I get some stickers?
Seriously let us know about the towel situation.
Great vid Ryan, such a muddy day! I’ll never forget my good goggles ever again!
At least 3 days. I usually take my wife's she only uses them once. Lol

2 days is crazy
Wash after 3rd use. Any less and my wife beats me. Lol
Crazy color in that forest! Nice video.
It was beautiful!
I live here, it's unreal. If you come do the Pulpit Rock hike. Something you HAVE to do when you visit
Ok
That last trail looks so much fun, very Whistler like. Good seeing you and Paul together. So happy for you guys
Yup, very BC bike park throughout that last section! Thanks Don
Rode this trail for the first time yesterday, this loose rocky chutes make for a wild ride!
Nice! They're pretty zesty.
The Loam Ranger zesty is the best way to describe them! If ya ever find yourself in nelson again, I’d love to show ya some of my favorites

I love mountain biking like so much it’s a fun thing to do
Absolutely!
Really enjoying watching you and Paul team up! Great Ride!
It was a blast. Thanks Mark!
Just me browsing UA-cam at 1am and I find this video of where I live nice
Nice! Morning mountain is sick!

Oh man tell me about it! I’m up here in Edmonton getting snowed on at the moment haha

I climbed to the top the one time I rode Power Slave and that was brutal! So many fun trails in Nelson
Bro im from Nelson This is so epic watching someone famous riding nelson. good on ya
so interesting to watch you guys ride the trails that I ride all the time!
Lucky! I'm definitely going back in 2019 to explore some more.
Spring and summer are cool, but fall is still the best time to ride and enjoy.
Agreed.
I love how vocal Paul is. Hilarious. Another great vid!
Rode Nelson for the first time this summer, it was crazy! Great video.
There is steep and then there is Kootney steep... usually when its dry the traction is amazing there but wet whoa nelly. Nice riding guys. Still recall riding the vein and paper bag years ago on my XC hardtail, most time I've ever spent behind my seat.
Damn broken crank arm, that's one I haven't had before. Haven't ridden in Nelson for years but great town and great riding.
The thing is it’s becoming a hobby. Do some Minnesota trails try the Crosby ironton trail.
My local organization closes the trails if they are even a fraction of that wet. Too much damage left for the next rider.
Good for you guys 🤷♂️
Paul is going to need more towels after that run.
New video format looks great, so much work behind the production
Im from Trail BC right beside Nelson, i Actually help build that first trail!
What an incredible trail! Like always loved your video
what an awesome ride!
It had everything! Tons of fun.
very nice

very nice and fun video dude.
Looks like Flowt saves the day!
Love the trail man, great ride!
I ride those Nelson trails all the time, there sick. You should try to go do the awakener

Thanks! Ya the conditions made things a little extra spicy haha. You know what? I didn’t notice the 170/175 difference 😶
That gadget on your handlebars made this video very distracting
Now that's mountain biking
Great vid!
Loving this series! Amazing videography. Was there a manufacturing defect on the cranks? I've never heard of anyone snapping saint's before!
Oh I just commented on the Rossland video saying I'm from Nelson heh, and here we are
Was that you crouched in the bushes?!? ;)

What bike computer are you using? I'm looking for a large display like that so I don't have to wear my reading glasses on my rides.

Great vid, Ryan! This last section (or trail) looks mega cool! BTW, I find that you and Paul look like brothers, don't you?
Thanks! haha skinny white dudes everywhere!

Hello new to the channel here, just wondering what the numbers on the iPad mean?
What do you use for a bike computer? Like the nice larger numbers

This one covers everything pretty well: ua-cam.com/video/2YEePcJZcFI/v-deo.html Hope it helps!
what editing software do you use to make these gopro videos look so good
Here’s my video series I made on how I make my video look the way it does: ua-cam.com/video/2YEePcJZcFI/v-deo.html

Haha same goes where I live. My home town trails are all clay, so they're no fun to ride in the wet anyways.
That gigantic gps is terribly distracting FYI :)
Ya I noticed when it was set to white background, that it was kinda distracting.
CASE!
....ouch
Haha yup that was a big one!
That's like 10 minutes from my house
No
Edit the parts you stuffed up.
Still was pretty cool tho
