G’day mate, I just had the opposite problem where the screen would not turn off. Luckily your video fixed this problem too. Thank you. Very grateful for your time, you just saved me a flat battery and a big bill.
You saved me! Thank you! Brand new Venue and they couldn't get me in for 2 weeks so I watch your video and it's good as new with a couple of wrench turns. It was the instrument cluster, not the other display but still worked great! Thank you again!!!!
I love you man. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. It’s a damn computer. Hey appreciate it. I’ve been trying to deal with this thing for about two hours. All I had to do was take the damn battery off. Incredible. Thanks again.
Found a different solution for my 2019 version there’s a small button just next to the the actual Vol word that just need a small pointy object to push it.
hello sir i have creta 2020 my infotainment system shows only hyundai logo then goes blank but back camera is working . can you tell me what else can i do
I have the same issue on my 2023 Kia sportage sx prestige, I tried the battery thing it worked but it still doing this constantly. Hopefully Kia is able to fix this under warranty.
Thanks for this. My 2023 Elantra's screen just went 'scrambled' then poof... Darkness. Restarting car didn't work. Instead of disconnecting the battery, I removed the 15Amp "Multimedia" fuse from the interior fuse panel for 15 seconds, then replaced it. Did the trick. Weirdest thing I've ever seen.
Audio is fine... Besides, my Elantra doesn't have that box. Bose system. Amp is in the trunk I believe. Started doing it again after the reset. Seems to occur with bumps in the road. Guessing a harness might be loose somewhere
@@violeta373 It happened a couple more times, and I found that lightly tapping on the top of the screen with the soft part of my fist made the screen co.e back. I think a ribbon cable in the display may have not been seated correctly. Hasn't done it since. I brought it up to Hyundai and they said if I could recreate the issue they would replace the infotainment system.
I have a 2011 hyundai sonata 2.0t, and I don't have that reset button , however, I did disconnect the battery terminal and turned on the car. It's still the same thing blank!!
@@mage1915 gotta look in owners manual. I have a 17 Santa Fe sport. Mine was a 15 amp fuse located in fuse panel inside left drivers side above where you put odbc reader connection. Pull the small panel. Mine was top right fuse second one down. Fuse was good. Pulled out and reseated. No more problems.
My girl was on the phone with the dealership who was telling us to set up an appointment to take it in at the exact same time I found this video😅 fuckin thanks bud🫡
For the amount we pay in these vehicles we shouldn’t have to go through all this🤦🏽♀️
I am about done with Hyundai. we just had transmission replaced and now blue link keeps freezing up too.
bro i swear to fuxkin god 🤦🏾♂️
You are absolutely correct. The issues we faced with Hyundai is upsetting. Whether the engine, the signal settings, and now the screen.
Idk I only paid 18k off the lot thats pretty cheap lol

You can just press the little reset button underneath the volume for about 10 seconds. Screen came back afterwards
I don’t have that on my 2017 Hyundai
It’s underneath the SD map flap
This comment was very helpful thank you

@clamcake1564 Did you try any of the tips?
I have a 2020 Hyundai Tucson that my car radio screen is completely black I have no audio and the display screen is not working someone please help!
Have you tried the steps in the video?

Thanks for this but you can remove the memory card on the back of the console and put it back in. The system will reset.
Thanks for the info
Where is the console located?
How do you disconnect the terminal??
Use a 12 mm socket set
Well this "pretty much" didn't work for me
What vehicle do you have?
Just hit the reset button. It’s a little hole next to the volume control on most of the cars. Mine was underneath the SD map card flap.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work all the time. Please check out this other video for alternative options. 🙏

Never showed how to take the terminal off
Get a 12 socket
This guy clearly works at mcdonalds
Nobody wants to watch an 8 minute video that says "take off the negative battery cable and put it back on again".... complete waste of time.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
Just got a 2023 NLine, had it for about 3 weeks and this happened... I'm pissed, came straight to UA-cam, hopefully this works
