Okay just a little insight. Y'all gottah understand that Before There was Queens like Hwasa, SOYA, BIBI and even Badass Queen Jessi, There was QUEEN CL. like she's the OG of all thrm Badass, Girl crush, Baddie queen before anyone in Kpop industry. She's the leader of the OG GG from YGE named 2NE1. And 2NE1 is actually the 1st Girl Group that changed the whole game of Kpop Girl grps. Before them and even during their 1st year in the ibdustry every Girl Group you'll see in Kpop and I mean Every sibgle one is revolved about either looking cute, feminine or Sexy (in a fashionable sense. Not in a revealing way) but 2NE1 was the first ever GG who broke that stereotype area and Pushedd for the Unconventional type of sounds and visuals. Rhey brought the COOL and EDGY vibe in which at the time not everyone was fond of. Some even called them ugly. and over the years rhey continue to win awards in South korea working their way up. And YES, She can definitely dance. Also she can write songs and compose too. She's respected and idolized by many Idols and Icons (both in music and fashion industry worldwide) I think the reason why you feel like you heard her before is because she has been Active overseas as well in the US as a solo artists these past years. If Suga, RM and Jhope had a Girl ver. It'll be CL. She and Suga has the same Kitty eyes, Style and Swag (I can honestly attest to this. They're both Savage af) wprk ethic wise and her passion when it comes to her crafts and music and the way she tends to get hard on herself at times to get the work DONE is the same as RM. And she's also very witty and smart. She's fluent in 4-5 languages and yes, she's fluent in English too. Her Cool vibe and friendliness and her knowing how to vibe to ANY beat and tone is the same as Jhope and he fashion sense 💯. She can both sing and Rap. I think y'all should check out more of her Live performances too. She actually sounds good Live, that's why y'all might be tripping in regards whether she be actually singing live or not. CL really IS that BOSS B**ch! And I'm not even exaggerating. Even seniors in the K-Industry gets tensed when they interview her even back then. They said she has this Cool aura in her even when she's just standing still. She's cool without trying. And yes, all 2NE1 members left YGE. Because of mistreatment. (Which is Good for them for finally leavibg YGE. They deserve SO MUCH MORE! F**k YGE and their corrupted system!) There's a reason why despite Lisa being such 2ne1 fan, None of BP is close to any members of 2NE1. YGE tried so hard to replicate and do a supposed better ver. Of 2NE1 through BP. But anyobe who has seen and heard of 2NE1 before and through out the years of their existance can see the CLEAR big difference talent, skills and treatment qise. @@bratzlover501 Yes. She went waay back then. But she had a different image back then (Different musicality and portrayal as an artist I mean) and wasn't ha'dled well as an artist. And I was happy when she got out of that. Since she received alot of misjudgement and prejudices back then even from her co-celebs. She and Tiffany (SNSD) are good friends even before they got discovered by K-Companies. Jessi became the Queen she deserves now coz she had more freedom to be more of herself now.

BP and 2NE1 are 2 different groups. Lisa never had to be like any of the 2NE1 members because she is a main dancer that broke her back,worked hard since she was a child and is the only main dancer in YGE that can is gifted to the exellence. Out of both group main dancers,Lisa took the crown. Where Vocals,rapping and writing most songs,2NE1 has got that covered. 2NE1 indeed run. BP made YGE their dog. YGE never respected their GGs and every group member got mistreated differently. Therapy didn't help any group.

the 'episodes from 'killing verse/voice'' is 100% live nowdays but some of the old episodes like this one, sometimes the music they choose to sing have too many backing vocals or effects on it, like these echos sounds and etc so they play that part of the track while singing live as well, this happens especially when it's rappers because they need to catch their breath! the jessi episode also is kinda like this because it's mostly all rap songs :)

CL is iconic and this video was amazing, especially that freestyle, was lit.
As for HWA, the last song, she raps about her being one of the pioneers in the industry and she has every right to because its well known, every korean company tells their rapper to rap more like CL. Thats why she says come again copy copy. She really did change the game the moment she debuted. And now that its lost in translation, she continues to show more how to appreciate than appropriate.

They record the audio there in one shot but it isn't raw raw and without any kind of post processing but to be fair any performances are processed in some way or another if a mic is used. She put out an album since this called Alpha that is absolutely AMAZING and well worth making content about. A lot of it is in english and she has so many different genres and MVs in it. Hope you can get to it eventually!
