2:40 I definitely think there should be some transparency on the crescent moon here, so that the background color doesn't clash with the gradient too much.
since you use world generated biomes as images for your backgrounds, i think it might look nice to have multiple layers of background with different amounts of parallax (the 2d classic sonic games of an example of what im talking about) you would need to make sure that the front layers are more flat than the back ones to avoid them covering each other up weirdly but i feel it would look nice with a good amount of tweaking. to add on with background related things i personally believe adding clouds and stars would help a lot with polish on the backgrounds, including maybe having the actual background part be lowered a tad so the sky could have more center stage (could also help with framing on more vertical biomes such as a mountain one, at the current moment the background covers a good amount of the upper half of the screen, leading to issues like what youve said about the sun/moon being covered up, i think adding vertical parallax also might be a decent idea with lowering the background, as then the sun is only covered if you are low down in altitude) i dont think those would be too intensive to implement programming wise (tweaking is probably going to be pain but the actual setting up part shouldnt be hard i think?), but i feel this sort of stuff would seriously help a lot in the general look of this project. either way i like how this looks so far, and i wish you luck on making it reach a point you are happy with
you should add water physics so the caves get a bit more decorated! And you can add passive mobs, boat physics, flowers, shifting and maybe structures like villages! I know it's a big request but you can do half of the stuff I said. I'm sure it will turn out great and I wish you the best of luck❤😂
Now that you've added a jungle, all thats left to add is a huge bee, pink flower, a brown lizhard filled temple with a brickman in it, a cute electrical birb, and a pehonix dragon boss called yharon to it.
Ever since this series started I've thought it is so cool that someone's actually building Minecraft from the ground up and almost the whole game absolutely amazing don't know why I haven't subbed yet
Amazing episode! i realy want to see a ocean biome with swiming shipwerks and all this kind of things.I think it could be so cool.(or other dimensions)
Less laborious crafting: Instead of shifting the recipe all over the place, find the top-left filled square in your crafting UI. Let that be the origin point of the recipe. In your recipe file, describe recipes along with their origin point, or just make a habit to "place" them in the top-left side of the grid. Now, you only need one shift, from there it's always an exact match
This reminds me of crafted the 2f minecraft on ios in like 2011 when everyone was going crazy for it and I remember so many fond memories of playing that game all night. It got taken down so I'm very happy to see it come back and I hope to play this!
i wonder how the nether portal is gonna work... you can't just make a full portal because you wouldn't be able to enter it, but you also couldn't make it only require two obsidian because it would make getting to the nether too easy.
That's a great point! I have a system implemented already that can disable collisions for solid blocks (that's how I can walk through the trees for example). Perhaps a portal could just have no solid collision but as soon as you intersect the portal itself, it would function like normal.
Don't you think you can implement biome background transition the same way you do biome transition on the terrain ? Like the backgroung would be generated the same way as the world ?
I would suggest that you make the sun and moon either full in front or fully behind the background as well as making the background itself more detailed.
This is amazing! I'm really blown away by your dedication to this project. Although I was thinking; maybe the day/night cycle shifts from day to night too fast? Not sure though. Maybe sunrise should also be a lot oranger than yellow.
Not sure if this is the best idea, but would having different files for each block/item texture be better than tile maps? I assume it would be easier to add more textures, since it's not bound to a specific size, but do correct me if I am wrong.
It kind of annoys me that jungle stems are only one block wide instead of two; and I think adding vines as some sort of foreground block could help the jungle look more like, well, a jungle.
A visual addition that would be nice is that as soon as the character doesn't move for more than 5 seconds, the texture of the character is seen from the front
you are making great progress! i would add some structures to the game like the dessert temple or villages. But you are doing great job! keep it going!
this is crazy but i found 3 things that are wrong 1- the furnes gui is off centerd 2- the player and the zombies can jump 2 blocks 3-idk if you know this but there is a bambo with leaves in minecraft i hope you see my comment and fix them :)
I think the background is too blurry, and cant you just make the sun and the moon on top of the background so that it doesn't clash with the background? and also I think the sun and moon looks a little too big.
If you add dyes to the game, I recommend not using enums like Minecraft does, but instead use a more easily extensible system.
It would be cool if the form of dying leather would also be available for wool and all dyable items

1:22 this is what we need in the actual Minecraft!
I think after the game is complete, you should add the ability to add mods
It is in the actual game
It is? I didn’t know tbh
I love the moon/sun cycle, you did a good job on it, and everything else!

thats cool
@@Simar_GautamYea. Would love to see code noodles make them. Also it would be cool if he added Shifting!
And also some weather depending on the biome! Like if it rains while your in a snow biome. It would snow fall instead of actual rain
Shifting? You mean crouching?
There are other features that would be way more interesting to add
Now that you've added a jungle, all thats left to add is a huge bee, pink flower, a brown lizhard filled temple with a brickman in it, a cute electrical birb, and a pehonix dragon boss called yharon to it.
this is awesome! it would be cool if you added structures in a later episode
this is awesome can't wait for the nether and end
Awesome to see this project progressing! As always, I'm amazed at your dedication and patience when it comes to coding. Keep up the great work!
this project is legendary

i think the background you currently have should be moved down to make room for clouds (right now it doesn't feel much like a sky)
This reminds me of crafted the 2f minecraft on ios in like 2011 when everyone was going crazy for it and I remember so many fond memories of playing that game all night. It got taken down so I'm very happy to see it come back and I hope to play this!
This is amazing! The dedication is so impressive.
Nice work on getting things done! I would suggest you implement some more of the mobs
You should add leaf decay and saplings

keep going!!! this is so good!!! next idea: villages and villagers
This video is such a huge motivator for my own sandbox game, Thank you for keeping the series up!
Family craft 😎
0:42 1000 lines 😳
Oh yeah, nicer gameplay, btw as a suggestion Dungeons would be a nice first structure to add...
You can try to add water to the game, because it's very important part of the gameplay. Also try to add beds and fantoms
I would suggest that you make the sun and moon either full in front or fully behind the background as well as making the background itself more detailed.

this helps a lot with my own 2d game. its like your game
You deserve waaaay more recognition!! Got my sub for sure
Great video! I think you should definitely add clouds during the day and stars during the night.
finnaly!
didnt even sterted the video and I already know it will be a great one
It kind of annoys me that jungle stems are only one block wide instead of two; and I think adding vines as some sort of foreground block could help the jungle look more like, well, a jungle.
It would be cool, if you would add Hoes and farming, which is something used often in normal Minecraft, so it'd be cool if you could add it
I love this series so much
A visual addition that would be nice is that as soon as the character doesn't move for more than 5 seconds, the texture of the character is seen from the front
You should add
- passive mobs
- skeletons/creepers
- durability
- flowers/flower forest
you are making great progress! i would add some structures to the game like the dessert temple or villages. But you are doing great job! keep it going!
i like the ksp music lol
This man always Seem to impress me
To make the background look less intrucive on the sun and moon, just make the zindex on the sun above the background! just an idea.
Awesome video again loved kirby maker as well, would love to see animals and possibly fishing implemented next
Make the zombie’s arms stick out. You are making amazing progress with this
Add villager, Make trades with them, more animations, and nether
You should make it so that no matter how far you walk you will never find where the sun or moon lands just like in vanilla
Do you happen to use Unity or Unreal Engine or is this all from you?
Great video! You should make a version for web assembly! 😃❤
You should add passive mobs like pigs, cows, sheeps ect.
You can add structers!!
I’d like if you also put the 1.20 stuff in it like bamboo wood
Or cherry grove and maybe armoe trims if you made a structure.
I haven’t watched the entire video yet,and i apologize,as i am in class right now,but what is that sleek pixelated font you’ve used in the beginning?
This game needs mining and swimmable oceans
Can't wait to see it finished :)
0:34 THAT'S ME
Add a very low chance to spawn bowl of noodles for code noodles
Would really love if you made servers an option! It would be really cool
Man, I love that Kevin Macleod music in the background!
Will there be a download soon?
nice!
i would like if you added villagers but make a secret chance of them being squidward lol
maybe you could make the backgrounds less blurry? right now they look kinda weird
You show maybe try adding multiplayer (in a future episode)
Make so the zombie burns in the day
this is crazy but i found 3 things that are wrong
1- the furnes gui is off centerd
2- the player and the zombies can jump 2 blocks
3-idk if you know this but there is a bambo with leaves in minecraft
i hope you see my comment and fix them :)
This looks amazing! Jungle looks very cool too
I hope you add the nether and end (and maybe aether) dimensions
Can you Mack multiple player?
how do i download this? this is amazing!!! exellent job! 😆
why do you have your item sprites be pixel inconsistant with the gui?
you should add the nether and maybe the end.
Start adding the nether and some animations please❤
is this gonna end up having the ender dragon boss fights and actual playable game? because if it is i will buy it
Yay! Another 2d minecraft video!
I love this project, please continue
The series ever is back
I love this series!!!! Keep it coming!
Will you add mod support at some point
Mojang should hire you bru
alright this is the last video ill watch then ill go to sleep
Hey! you forgot to make leaves generate in the front of birch log…
Nice
I think the background is too blurry, and cant you just make the sun and the moon on top of the background so that it doesn't clash with the background? and also I think the sun and moon looks a little too big.
Commenting 4 algorithm
add ocean biome
Nice video!
redstone pls
pls
Maybe
yay
legit x-ray goes brrrrrrrrrr
You should also make sure to be able to place bamboo on top of a stalk and make sure the bamboo has the different sizes of leaves when they get tall
Add texture packs and modding. Y e s
Minecraft 🌠😊
Farming :D
I would like to see explosions and structures.
I wanna see how a Village or a Pyramid would look and act.
Add a f3 menu I think it would be really cool!
Add 5 new dimensions
when will we be able to play? that is so good, i suggest you make the nether vand add in structures like villages and outposts
now what version of minecraft is this java or bedrock?
Edit: wait wait wait are they, jumping up 2 blocks? its a sin!
Can you add rubber so you can make rubber block
