Good movie. They got the tone right on it I think. I was one of those people who was annoyed they didn't bring Kane Hodder back as Jason but the other dude actually came off quite still and creepy so I didn't mind it at all!
I agree with you 100%, and ya, the other guy did a good job. I enjoyed this movie. It's even one of my favorite of the Friday the 13th movie even though it was the last one I got.
@@MortonsReviews I think with some distance now, more people could enjoy it if they just let themselves! After Jason Lives, this is most enjoyable for me and the one I can easily re-watch. I do have a soft spot for Jason Goes to Hell as well even though no one seems to agree with me! 🤣 Where does that rank for you?
@BluRayDisplay to be honest, I watched them all in a few days of each other, and they all got so dam borning. It was the same thing. My personal favorite was Jason X and Jason takes manhattan. At least when he's in the city. Because then people see him and it's not all hidden.
@@MortonsReviews That's why I usually start with A New Beginning, cut out most of the trash! Yeah, I like Manhattan as well, underrated and the supernatural ending is just bonkers!

I grew up with Jason but Freddy just seems more different not just a non stop killer you know. But Hellraiser is where it's at for me.
