I had the d v d version of this years ago, but obviously, the 4k is better. And it's a shame that you had the other one and sold it because it's worth a lot of money right now. And yes, I heard tom savini is going to put out that as well.That's gonna be a must-have. Are there really scenes in the VHS that aren't in the "uncut" blu ray

I didn't see the web series. I have the TV series on my hard drive, but I never watched it. I need to re watch the 5th one, im still waiting on it to come in the post. It seems to be on back order Sadly.

@ the audio is pretty low on some of my videos. Not sure why. I have a dedicated mic. It’s either a jack issue when I plug into my iPhone or a volume issue when I edit. I did a live stream the other night that sounds great compared to my Demolition Man video and last unboxing. Both are very low which I didn’t catch until some UA-camrs gave me the heads up.

@bdubbbsmoviehub from editing so much over the years, it sounds like it's an editing issue. It's sounds like it's just set to low. I had the problem a few times as well, but I don't edit them that way anymore.

@joshfulcifan1015 ya i haf the box with them on dvd as well. I ended up selling it to pay for this box. It's definitely nicer to have blu rays than the dvds. But to be honest, don't expect the video quality to be any better. But if you asked if I'm happy to have it, yes. But as I said, video quality is about the same if not the same as the dvds. But there is all so a 5th movie that's missing from the set. I have it ordered as well cuz i have it on dvd already but I want blu rays.

Geeze, the dvd box set I have is as old as the beginning of the dvd generation itself, so anything updated has got to be somewhat better. I have the 5th film "Critters Attack" on dvd but had not had the time to see it yet, maybe after I go through these transfers of 1 to 4 I'll check it out. Fun films.

@joshfulcifan1015 you would think it would be a lot better. But i sold the dvds just for this set. The set is very nice, and they fit way better with other blu rays. I was all so really let down with the Hellraiser box set to. Those are the only 2 from arrow I had issues with. I watched the new demolition yesterday, and that quality was very good, but the normal blu ray was all so really good.

That's funny, I actually watched the very same video last night. He showed the d v d blue ray and four k, and I was actually most impressed with the blue ray. But the color of the d v d looked fantastic too.It looked more red and vibrant.

@MortonsReviews Yeah, that's what got me too, how vibrant the Blu was! The 4K is pretty dull and quite muddy. I see Arrow are releasing Deep Blue Sea on 4K in March, I won't be buying it because the Blu-ray is fine!

It's a really good movie most didn't like it because it's not a found footage movie.

The video quality is great. The show was good but not the best. It's worth a watch if you haven't seen it. I'll be getting the 2nd season when it comes out.

Ya, it's crazy how they get things others don't get. I'm really not a fan of found footage because they all ways film ways your armt supposed to, and it bugs me. Loved REC 3, even 4, was great, but I don't remember if that was FF as well. And the new BW wasn't so good.

@@BluRayDisplay all the REC films were great, even though 4 was a tad different, I really like Spanish horror tbh, you can’t go wrong.

Rec is amazing just wish they had English audio. The German blu rays have german language but not English saldy.

@@MortonsReviews I've had so many from Spain that still haven't come out anywhere else. People used to say I was supporting crime by buying pirated versions but as you proved in your video, they are proper discs, not burned copies! People are just jealous. I like REC, Cannibal Holocaust but I think because they felt quite real. All the others didn't really do it for much. The REC remake, Quarantine only works because it's a shot for shot remake! Was REC 3 the one that started at a wedding?

@davidneighbour this is 4k it's only the first movie and documentary that's not 4k.. all the other movies are 4k. And ya, i got the critters one to just haven't watched the 4th from this set yet. All so bought the 5th movie on blu ray because I only have it dvd. Yes, definitely check for the miss print. Mine was just fine when it came to the messed-up booklet. And thanks for the sub

It was an unplanned video, The video, in total, felt about 720p. i wish I could have scans to show people. But the video point was to warn them if they think about getting just to keep the blu rays they all ready have if they do. I get the movie is old, but the regular blu rays seemed better.

If you have this version, then definitely watch it and let me know what you think. I have heard of companies just using blu ray versions and calling it 4k, and that's not ok. I don't have so many 4ks, but this just didn't look very HD to me.

@@MortonsReviews I will have more chance this afternoon to look but yeah, I'm getting pretty fed up with 4K at the moment. Like I said about the 4K of Drag Me to Hell, it was a waste of money. Same with most lately. I got the 4K of Demolition man yesterday and I'm super nervous about that as well because the Blu-ray still looks great.

@BluRayDisplay it seems like anything older than 2000s 4k. Don't look anything better than 720p. I haven't seen an old 4k. That's any good. mine has been shipped, and I'm scared to. Eveyeone says it's great, but most people seem to kiss ass to get free movies. The only way would be that it looks worse then blu rau and I really hope not. I all ready sold my blu ray.

@@MortonsReviews Apart from True Lies, I'm actually starting to think the way James Cameron did Aliens and The Abyss is the way forward. At least they are night and day different, even the bad parts! I agree and that's really starting to annoy me seeing all these people get free stuff just for kissing ass. If we don't like something, we say it! That's how everyone should be. Yeah, my sister has my Blu for Demolition Man so I'm going to grab it back this weekend for a comparison.

@BluRayDisplay I dont think I'll be buying to many more 4ks unless they are new movies. I heard Terminator 2 was completely destroyed. I think that's the one I'm heard about.

The acting is good story is not bad, but what's shit is there is a lot of supernatural crap for the show to work.

Sadly, the video isn't the best. It's not much better than the dvds I had. @BluRayDisplay I like 3, I don't remember 4 at all, though. I broke down and watched Hellraiser 1 in 4k the box set came today. I watched that like a month ago and I wasn't a fan of that movie at all.

The digital version i had looked way better. Idk why it changed, I think it's a different frame rate for some reason. I mean, it was bad, but don't expect a day of the dead lol

Yeah, I actually didn't want that one because it was so much chaos. I watched a box opening of one of those, and it was crazy disks were falling out all over the place, and I said nope, lol. I'm happy with this one, only thing that I didn't like.Compared to the version with dvds and blu rays, I liked how you could switch the cover. This one you can't.

To be honest, the first one's just so boring. During the movie bates Motel, I did more research, and apparently, it was the way that they were trying to get a t v.Series originally. But honestly, I got kind of pissed off after watching that movie. This isn't an ending that works. You can import it from amazon de from spain, I believe it was. That's one of the movies.I will only be watching once.But i'm keeping it because I know it's a part of the collection. But don't have high hopes for it. Now the good doctor was a good show. I only watched until I think the third season after that. I kinda lost interest.But I will eventually watch the entire series again. As far as I know, this is the complete collection. If there is more, i couldn't find any lol

I only know it because I'm a big fan of Ryan Eggold after seeing him in The Blacklist, which is another excellent TV show! Yeah, I watched a bit of season one of Castle Rock and just let it drop off for some reason. If you finish it, let me know what you think. I just started Shooter with Ryan Phillipe again, that's pretty brutal.

@BluRayDisplay So far, I have watched the first 3, which means 9 more to go, lol. And the castle rock, I'll probably wait to watch it until I have season 2 on Disk. It took me forever to finish under the dome, but I'm glad I finished it after all these years. I only know shooter with Mark Warburg. That was a good movie, but I'm sure that's not what you're talking about.

To be honest, most are pointless 2 versions of the movie on the first disk. I mean, leave the normal one off and put altent cuts, sure, but the main film is a waste of space. If people want the main movie, they need to buy the dvd or blu ray. Ya, I got it used, obviously, and it wasn't in the best of shape. I still need to find a disk repair kit, and the case and disk were super dirty. But I cleaned it up. The thing all so has a big documentary coming out to.

@@MortonsReviews Yeah, I agree. This is a good treat for fans who want to supplement the film. Looks a lot better than many of the others on eBay, some of them seem terrible! Oh you cleaned it??? You did a really good job then, impressive! Is it the one called "The Thing Expanded"? I'm looking forward to that. I still quite often watch The Thing: Terror Takes Shape on the Blu-ray. Great doc. My favourite movie documentary is The Furious Gods: Making Prometheus. I watch that at least twice a year, never gets old!!! For me anyway 🤣

@BluRayDisplay oh, this one was super dirty. Yes, that's the one I'm talking about. I didn't know there were other documentaries about the movie. I will have to look into it. I wasn't a big fan of Prometheus. I will say it was a lot better the 2nd time I watched it.

@@MortonsReviews You did a good job of cleaning it 👌🏻 Terror Takes Shape was originally on the LaserDisc so it's really old but still a good one, some nice interviews with all the cast and crew. Yeah, Prometheus was the same for me and now it's my 4th favourite Alien movie! That's when I started watching the doc, after I saw it again and it really is a fascinating doc, one of the best I've seen.

It was definitely an interesting watch. I'm glad I finally watched it.And the quality is amazing. I am shocked that nobody else has made videos.You were the first one that I saw that actually posted about this. Usually these special editions of movies all have reversible art. Especially if it comes from arrow video.

I have started doing a lot of what's known as "frankensteing." I'm doing it as well with hills, have eyes slowly collecting the movies for that set and putting them in a slim box too. But ya, i can see doing that with the first movie as it was the best. I will only do the double dipping on my favorite movies. All so let me know how the quality of the house is in 4k.

They made 3 covers for this with 2222 of each, so that equals 6666 .... they sold for 66.66$ the site selling them crashed. Found another site that sold them and shipped them to Germany. That was another 20, then about another 20 for taxes. Ya the j cards are kind of annoying but I still keep them. I just keep them with the cases. Ya it dose really suck cuz I never spend that much money on a dam movie before lol. I have 2 cats one you can see in the fake dead pool 3 box opening I did and the other you can see in the photo I posted dealing with this movie.

@theknight8668 Hey man good to meet you im Morton. Most the times you can find uncut versions you just have to import them from other places. It may sound dumb but some times I'll make my own sets. Like I have the hills have eyes 3 movie on one disk from Germany. The quality is horrible and they are cut so what i did is took a new case that holds 3 disks and will put them in that one case now. What is good is Germany is getting better with not cutting so much all the dvds are cut lol but it's less with the blu rays so that's good. But the best place to get movies is the UK. That works perfectly for me because I only speak English. Some times I will import them from austria as well. Movies and games seem to be uncut from there for some odd reason.

Well, i will do dvds only if there isn't a blu ray version of it or if they cost a lot, but this one was only 30, i think. Now i think it's 25 even. For 6 movies, in one case, that's not bad. I have a big HD tv, so it is hard for me to watch old movies. Ya Sadly, that is a problem with the German government. That's another reason I get them from all over. I had to import the hostel movies. Same with saw i had to get them from other countries to have the good ones. But I feel you 100%. We want themovies the way they should be, and that is important.

But on a side note, I think i might be able to pull some kind of video where i talk about how movies are being censored.

@theknight8668 i try to import most of my movies. The only places my movies can't come from are the usa and canada. But I don't think there's anything censored in beetlejuice. Only the hard-core blood and guts type of stuff. I have to check my Halloween 4 I think you said as well. I just completed that whole collection and I need them un cut.

It works perfectly for me because I already bought the first one some time before. Just the other day, the other psycho movie came. I now have 4 of 5 seasons of bates motel. Now that collection will be complete. But ya people are crazy because in the video I was talking about he didn't get the info wrong it's 4k but they where all freaking out saying he was lying because it's normal bku ray cases just black ones.

I was reading that Training Day 4K came in the wrong case as well so companies do get it wrong from time to time but to call that dude a liar is just bonkers to me. Especially since, as you pointed out, that it has the HDR sticker and it literally says 4K on them! People are just simple minded. Also, they don't watch videos properly! They just skip to bits out of context.

The actor does art is really good at playing him. Definitely wouldn't work with another actor.

Well, my wife liked this one, and I am trying to get all the Stephen King movies. And I believe this was actually his first movie even. I have 3 other FS movies now, just missing one, but it's hard to find on blubray i think it's only on dvd and it's still hard to find in Europe

I used to own all of the Disney Princess movies when I was married.... 🤣🤣🤣 I've started collecting the Stephen King Mini Series's but some of the picture quality has been awful! The Langoliers is terrible to watch. Oh cool! Is the Zak Efron one worth a watch?

I have that one but haven't watched it yet. I am still trying to get under the dome done, lol. I can only watch so much. Ya, i agree with all the ones on dvd. They are horrible. The blu ray ones look great, at least the stand, or it ... I just looked at my collection and the rest are on dvd lol

@@MortonsReviews I've got the German release from Paramount and it's almost unwatchable. But the Storm of the Century DVD from Warner is almost like a low quality Blu-ray! Hahahaha! Yeah, I know the feeling. I plan to watch a movie one night but life takes the time away! Agreed, I love the Blu-ray of The Stand. Just wish we would get more on Blu. Oh no! 😳
