- In this video I talk about going from 1 to 2 kids, some tips for introducing a sibling to your older child & what is it like life with 2 kids. I tried to be as honest as possible, whilst also sharing some practical tips from pregnancy, the newborn days and the following months, which I hope will be helpful to some of you.

I know this video is 2 years old but I can't tell you how much I appreciated it. I am struggling with what you mentioned about not being able to spend time with your toddler. I don’t want to set up my girl to feel like it’s some big life changing event that she had a say in or something. I’ve been talking to her about her siblings since she was just a few months old and I haven’t even ovulated yet. I want her siblings to be a part of her life already so I talk about it every day. What we will do and how life might be and how she can help with chores and how she can play with babi(es) and how much I love them all. I want her to watch my belly grow and know what is happening. I hope she’ll be excited about the baby. I already have lots of responsibilities that she watches me tend to so I hope it won’t be a shock to see me nursing someone other than her.

Thank you so much for the video, my son will be 16 months old when his brother is born. I am extremely scared and already overwhelmed, it is hard taking care of him now that he is so young and I am pregnant and tired all the time. I still don't know how I am going to do it.

I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant with our second child. When the baby arrives our son will be 2 years and 4 months... And already I'm full of guilt and anxiety. It was a planned pregnancy but came a little bit sooner than anticipated. Our son was conceived with the help of fertility drugs and took us three years to achieve; so we didn't expect success so soon the second time around. We are obviously delighted and excited as it was so important to try and give our son a sibling... But I am really nervous. I adore my son. He's everything to me and has been my little sidekick from the day he was born. I'm a stay at home mum and am literally with him all the time. We are looking at trying him out at preschool a couple of mornings a week next year ( a couple of months before the baby arrives ) but even that makes me a bit sad. Totally ridiculous I know, but I'm just so in love with him. I know the dynamic will inevitably change once the new baby is here, but I'm scared of mine and my sons relationship changing. I don't want him to feel neglected by me as I love him so so much. I don't wanna just palm him off with other people, or make him feel that "this new baby has come along and I keep being sent away".
