Without your videos I would have given up on my 880. I don’t have a local Bernina dealer that knows the 880 so no one close enough to learn these tips. Thank goodness for this video! No one taught me about oiling the machine but this has got me back up and running without having to find someone to help. I come here first when needing to know something about my Bernina. Had to stop by again to tell you, you are the BEST-this video has solved ALL the bobbin issues I was having. This one video I think could have helped save the 8 series A LOT of the bad press it has undeservedly and unnecessarily received. I never had major problems with my 830 and always loved my machine but I love it even more now that I know how to resolve the majority of my bobbin issues. Thank you!
I am having a major issue with my 880 in the embroidery mode. BOA has had this machine 2 times this year for about a total of 90 days and said my problems of bird nesting and looping were the result of poor digitizing. I brought the machine home and just left it for a few months. I got the machine out and turned it on a few months ago and it sewed just fine. But in embroidery mode it was still bird nesting and looping, punching holes in the hooped fabric. I saw you video on taking the front off to make sure the thread was in the correct place, it was, so I left it off and it embroidered just fine. Tonight a put another hoop on and pushed the flashing green button and right away a bobbin error. I checked and there were a couple of mark on the mirrors, so I replaced the bobbin with a new. started it again, bird nest. I turned off the machine so it would reset, tried again, it stitched for a few seconds and got a jam error. There was no jam. Do you have any idea what might cause these problems? My Bernina dealer has no idea, BOA says nothing wrong. but there is something wrong?
As you suggest in the video, when I turn the handwheel backward of my 880 Plus machine to position the screw at 2:00, the machine starts to close the bobbin as oppose to turn it. What am I doing wrong?
I want to clean the thread out of the body of my Bernina 880. Any chance you will do a video like your remove the bobbin case video with all the appropriate disclaimers and show us how to remove the case?

The Bobbi hook on my 880+ is spinning when I open and close the bobbin door. Can I send you a video of it, and can you tell me how to fix it.
