Orgy is one of my favorite bands to date, but I never thought there image was forced... Obviously visuals are a big part of the industry, and they wanted their image to reflect their sound (as most bands do, and should) It was supposed to be a futuristic image to match there futuristic sound... Orgy was way ahead of their time, I think had they come out today, they would have gone much further...
@@RagingUtai KoRn have a much heavier sound to them; whereas Orgy (candyass especially) have a lot of techno/industrial like sound. Although saying that, JD did feature on Revival on Candyass
@@RagingUtai They're both nü-metal bands, but they don't do the same sound (or image, for that matter) at all! That's like saying Limp Bizkit sounded too much like KoЯn-and that's asinine. If you can't distinguish all the differences, both sonically and visually; that's on you. Gotta pay more attention! And I agree. Orgy were easily amongst the most "ahead of their time" artists to come out of the nü-metal movement; that's how the back-catalogue of their music has continued to age so gracefully. These guys were SO ahead of their time, they even alienated their own fanbase when they released Punk StatiK Paranoia in 2004; which saw Orgy actually embrace their roots as a nü-metal band. The world was not ready for Orgy.

This demo is great. It has a raw quality to it. Candy Ass and Vapor Transmission are classic Orgy albums. They have real talent. Whoever mixed and produced those two albums is a genious behind the mixing desk.
I'm a bit confused...it all sounds like Orgy but Amir is a good engineer and had access to sick studio's around this time (he produced Coal Chamber's debut among others), plus the fact that Julien-K took years to release their debut suggests he's a perfectionist...I wouldn't be surprised if this was a cover. It does sound like its them tho, the singer sounds like Jay
What you say is very true. I always look past an image of a band. The music is what matters the most. Personal problems in a stars life is normal. Background of an artist is interesting.

@the1andonlyDarkAngel Try out torrents. Those have plenty of video packs of your favorite artists to download. LimeWire and Kazaa are full of nasty viruses. I have not used those P2P networks for years. They are garbage.
I don't like the beginning's singing...it was done better in the final version. However, the instrumentals in this version are amazing. However, the way they did the bass solo - 2.34 - in this version was just incredible.
