    Ricky C is by far the best in motocross and Jeremy M in Supercross. I feel with they both should race again for people to see that age does not matter. I know that in 6 months of training Jeremy can be ready for Supercross and Ricky ready for motocross. The reason they retire is they get burned out of many years of race no and all the hell that goes with it. It’s not age! They loose the eye of the tiger and just don’t care as much if they win or loose. I just think it would be awesome to see them do what Mike Tyson is doing. Motocross is so similar to boxing by having to be fit as well as being able to think quick. I would say they need to race maybe every other race and I’m sure they would get paid huge money to do so. People would show up just to see them race even if they didn’t do very well. No one expects them to win every race. That’s not realistic but they still have what it takes to fight to the front

    That double at I believe its Broom Tioga at the 42:50 mark is way bigger than it looks. Right out of the corner too. That is a pretty unique jump for it to just be a double.

    I was told personally by the Kawi team semi driver who has been with the team for 20 plus years that one of the true reasons Ricky left Kawi was he was insulted Bubba was gonnna be under the chevy trucks rig on a 125 when every other rider in history for Kawi had to be under the Pro Circuit Rig even Ricky himself. Would of been pretty cool to see RC and Bubba under the same tent whether it would of been at Kawi or Honda that 2002-2004 stretch.

    • @multitablez7825
      @multitablez7825 5 місяців тому

      The Kawi really was the worst bike of them at the time. I think that is the reason he moved to Honda. Honda had a better bike. Then idk why ricky moved to suzuki as i dont think they were as good as honda.... also, the Kawi 125 when bubba won on it was the worst bike, by far... which makes what bubba did on that 125 more insane. He was truely the fastest 125 rider, and i think he was, at times, the fastest 250 rider. He just didnt have consistency and experience overall like ricky did to win races

    • @Nick-xw3dk
      @Nick-xw3dk 5 місяців тому

      @@multitablez7825 Ricky went to Suzuki when his contract was up with Honda simply because of money. Suzuki offered more money he took the offer to Honda to see if they would match the Suzuki offer and Honda said no we wont match it. Honda still wanted to resign Ricky just not for the money Ricky wanted which he deserved after giving Honda the two only perfect seasons in the history of motorcycle racing at the time. All this came straight from Ricky's mouth in multiple interviews over the past few years.
      As far as the bikes go its hard to say the kawi was the worst bike of them all, industry wide it is known that the KTM 2 strokes were the worst of them all at the time. And the 125 bubba was riding was an absolute rocket from 2003-2004 when they changed the design of the kawi 125 from 2002 to 2003 that was an exceptional 125. Those same 125's were dominating the amateur seen as well at the time with Ryan Villopoto, PJ Larsen, Austin Stroupe, Matt Lemoine, Trey Canard, and a few others.

    I wish so bad that Honda would shock the entire MX world and put out 125's and 250's again. It's so incredibly frustrating that they refuse to do it. The YZ 125's and 250's sell like freakin' hot cakes. If Honda put out two strokes again, they'd completely take over the market for them. If there's any marketing guy for Honda watching this video and reading this comment, please!, For the love of everything good in the world, pull some strings my man. Put a bug in the right person's ear. For crying out loud why won't they do this?

      I worked for Honda for 15yrs, I won’t say where in the organization, but sadly this will never happen. As a company, Honda is very conscientious of their company image. They always want to be perceived as environmentally responsible and doing right for the plant. Connect this to the average non-moto head Joe and Jane that think 2 strokes are dirty, smoke, and pollute like crazy. For this reason, they won’t ever build another 2 stroke. Sad but unfortunate truth. Granted the new 2 strokes aren’t as dirty as the average Joe/Jane may think (look at the KTM FI strokes), but the perception is still there. Why do you think it’s hard to find 2 stroke yard equipment. It’s all going electric. Which I disagree with and is largely a political spin. Regardless of how one feels about all that, a Honda 2 stroke won’t happen. If they wanted to, they definitely could do it. But they don’t want to, even if they loose sales to arch rival Yamaha.

    I never noticed it when RC was on Kawasaki or Suzuki but it always blew my mind how far dropped back RC kept his handle bars on the Honda. Didn't seem like on any other brand they were dropped back and down that far. From the spectator stand point it really seemed to be why the bike would get so out of sorts all the time until he got on the 450. As soon as the video started and he goes through the whoops the bike was immediately out of control and it happened consistently that year. Just looked uncomfortable and not very functional to have the bars like that even though RC dominated that year.
