Special status under Sec 370 and Article 35A were granted under Indian constitution. Not under UN regulation. India had every right to withdraw it. UN Special resolution has multiple conditions which have not been fulfilled by Pakistan. In fact Pakistan have already given up part of the POK to China. So, UN resolution is invalid and irelevant.
If Pakistan raises the issue of Article 370 and 35A, that means Pakistan indirectly recognizes / legitimizes Jammu and Kashmir as an Indian State since 1954 !! Artcle 370 & 35A were a temporary provision under the Indian Constitution which was implemented and Annexed J&K with India by granting local autonomy to the state Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Unfortunately instead of making any development in the state, the Four Families (Abdullahs, Muftis, Lones and Ansaris) had misused the autonomous power of the Article 370 & 35A and indirectly sponsored Terrorist activities so as to maintain their Dynasts regime in Jammu and Kashmir for last 75 years. So, being, J&K is an Integral Part of India, thus Article 370 & 35A was abrogated under the Provision of 370(1) of Indian Constitution. Thus, Pakistan having without any knowledge and logic tried to interfere on India's internal matters !?

Brother, Article 370 was given as per Indian Constitution and it was abrogated in a legitimate manner. This should be done earlier as it presented hindrance for the development of the Jammu and Kashmir. After abrogation of article 370 many countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia invested millions of dollars.

Why do you always complain, when the tables are turned? By the way, Indians do understand what is happening at GB and take all that the Indian media is showing with a pinch of salt. Even though we might have heard a lot of secessionist videos being circulated, we understand that it could / could not be the opinion of the entire population. That remains to be seen. Whatever you iterated, are the grievances, and whatever you enlisted as the demands of the local people of GB, is precisely the textbook definition of secessionist movement. Evidently they are agitating the exact issues that Banglas agitated viz. Language, proportionate allocation of resources, self and autonomous rule, proportionate representation and exclusion of Pakistani people from the exploitation of local resources (Land, labour, capital) or decision making thereof. They're raising the same grievances, as you rightly stated, of 'Wadakhilafi'. Secondly there's a difference between what Indian Govt did on 5th August. It took out the bottlenecks that were blocking the development in Kashmir under the iron curtain called 'special status's. UN resolutions in the bin, UN wouldn't be accountable if Kashmiris were not getting electricity, roads, supply of food and education. It would've been the Indian govt that would've been answerable to its people (Kashmiris). So the abrogation was to facilitate the development and protection of Kashmiris rather than exploiting their resources for the benefit of China. Lastly, you cannot consider the likes of Republic tv and most other hypernationalist media houses getting the patronage of indian govt as serious news media. Even Indians don't consider them as such, so its not surprising to find them being outrageous and ludicrous. Manzoor Pishtin and Gilgit Baltistan, for them are all one and same thing. That's the reason that you left mainstream media in the first place.
It is a bit more than just developmental reason for Kashmir. I have been to Srinagar much before article 370 was removed. They had the roads even then, just the Hindus never came. I went there because it was my homeland. The article 370 was dropped because without it in case of any terrorist activities the military can take no action because the president's rule couldn't be applied. It's surprising that as an Indian you have so little info on what really happened in Kashmir. Ladakh was anyway Buddhist - the problem was their numbers were so small their voices would never be heard which is why it was turned into UT so that all money earned from tourism would stay in Ladakh.

Provision of Security is intrinsic and in fact prerequisite for developmental admin. Its not necessary to expressly state that one of the reasons to abrogate was to ensure better security and peace to Kashmiris. There is anti - Pakistan feeling in many Pakistan province like Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, Gilgit Baltistan & even in Azad Kashmir because Pakistan want to erase their history, distinct culture & language in the name of uniformity through single national curriculum, Pakistan once tried to do this with Bangladesh as they erased their own history but didn't succeeded whereas In many Indian states & tribal areas having distinct culture, tradition, language & history are constitutionally protected and one other than native is allowed to buy land or settle due to the protection given under schedule 5 & 6 of the Indian constitution.

Thank goodness someone is talking about GB. I once watched a woman doing a show on high rate of suicides in GB. It was so pathetic, the lady didn’t even know about a thing. She might have confused GB’s culture with KPK. Her questions to people were “ why are you making your women do suicide?” , “ you guys kill them if she likes someone. “,…….! Anyways, schooling standard and literacy rate of GB is way better than schools in Punjab. They know the importance of education. Children have to walk miles on mountains everyday to reach their schools. GB has suffered extremism to an extent because of tableegi Jamat’s preaching that has created division. For infrastructure, these people work together to make roads in small villages. One more thing that rest of Pakistan should learn from GB, they have a separate area in their homes for their animals unlike You witness in Punjab.

I’m a regular listener and a fan. I love your work, and I really appreciate that your efforts in particular case when as you said no Pakistani media outlets are giving a damn about us, as GBian, I’m super grateful to Indian media outlets for at least giving much needed media coverage and to government of India for their on and off mentioning of GB at different international platforms. Seeing how Pakistan has been abusing GB’s natural and human resource in the region by Pakistan, which has a long history of exploitation, exporting state sponsored sectarian terrorism, and Pakistan itself being a failed country, we GBians have no business with the state of Pakistan and let the people and leadership of the country keep abusing us and our future generations. Pakistan’s history in Baluchistan, in Wazirstan, in Afganistan and other neighbors, I don’t think we should expect any better treatment from them.
Gilgit Balchistan people should sign agreements for autonomy with India and become a part of India, just like the state of Sikkim, where their culture and land is protected and yet they still enjoy all the facilities like any other Indian in jobs, politics etc.

I am from kargil ladakh. Same thing is happening here in ladakh also . We are continuously protesting after 2019 which the main stream indian media never shows. Before we had land protection but after abrogation of article370 and 35 A the govt first promised us that our land and jobs will be protected but now they are showing their true colors. We have been continuously protesting for 6th schedule in ladakh under which our land and jobs are protected bcz 97% of the population of ladakh comes under schedule tribe. Now recently they passed a new bill in ladakh without the consent of the LAHDC( which is the local governing body of ladakh) under which all the barren lands or land which are not under private control belongs to central government instead of local govt i.e LAHDC which means even being the native people of the land we are not the owner of the land and soon they will exploit our resources and change the demographics as they sarted in western part where our historical grazing lands are turned into army training ground. Also in kargil many of our historical polo grounds are illegally under army control.There have been numerous protest all our ladakh in last few years but the media never shows. Both pakistan and india are exploiting our resources and wants to keep us with themselves instead of holding peblicite. Even though 97% of the population are under schedule tribe they still denying us the status of 6th schedule and our leaders in parliament are all sold to current bjp govt. They betrayed us. I hope my balti people are fighting for their right their just like us here, and soon we will be together like it used to be before 1948. ❤

Also you have highlighted wrong reporting by Indian media about agitations in the said area. Please continue to do such analysis/reporting to enlighten the public of subcontinent & also try to bring public close with each other in subcontinent. You know pretty well that 1958 onwards, there was either dictatorial govts.in Pakistan or hybrid regeimes backed by Miltestablishment & public was nor given the due representation. Correction my brother: section 370 of the Indian Constitution which allowed Kashmir it's special status was completely decided by Indian leaders and included into our (India's) constitution on an indefinite but temporary basis keeping certain conditions in mind for the problems of the people of Kashmir due to political instability at that time. But, that problem never got resolved and infact became worse with the export of Terrorists by Pakistan hence, it was repealed with very good reasons ( as it was meant to be). Now, the people of Kashmir are absolutely in favour of this move as they enjoy the same benefits as any other citizen of India...talk about your Gilgit-Baltistan, tell us how much facilities are given to them by your country ??

Special status under Sec 370 and Article 35A were granted under Indian constitution. Not under UN regulation. India had every right to withdraw it. UN Special resolution has multiple conditions which have not been fulfilled by Pakistan. In fact Pakistan have already given up part of the POK to China. So, UN resolution is invalid and irelevant.

If Pakistan raises the issue of Article 370 and 35A, that means Pakistan indirectly recognizes / legitimizes Jammu and Kashmir as an Indian State since 1954 !!
Artcle 370 & 35A were a temporary provision under the Indian Constitution which was implemented and Annexed J&K with India by granting local autonomy to the state Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
Unfortunately instead of making any development in the state, the Four Families (Abdullahs, Muftis, Lones and Ansaris) had misused the autonomous power of the Article 370 & 35A and indirectly sponsored Terrorist activities so as to maintain their Dynasts regime in Jammu and Kashmir for last 75 years.
So, being, J&K is an Integral Part of India, thus Article 370 & 35A was abrogated under the Provision of 370(1) of Indian Constitution.
Thus, Pakistan having without any knowledge and logic tried to interfere on India's internal matters !?

Brother, Article 370 was given as per Indian Constitution and it was abrogated in a legitimate manner.
This should be done earlier as it presented hindrance for the development of the Jammu and Kashmir.

I agree that we, at the Indian side might have been misreporting what is happening in GB area. However Pakistan, has been misreporting on Kashmir for decades now. Why do you always complain, when the tables are turned? By the way, Indians do understand what is happening at GB and take all that the Indian media is showing with a pinch of salt. Even though we might have heard a lot of secessionist videos being circulated, we understand that it could / could not be the opinion of the entire population. That remains to be seen. However, while we are trying to win over the debates, we need to understand that we have to keep the lives, the aspirations, the dreams, the rights of the Kashmiris, the people from GB, and the rest of PoK at the highest priority. At this juncture though Muzammil ji, I think only one country amongst us has the capacity, the economy, the political will and the consensus of its people to do good for the people of J&K and GB.

I beg to disagree with Muzammil for once. Whatever you iterated, are the grievances, and whatever you enlisted as the demands of the local people of GB, is precisely the textbook definition of secessionist movement. Evidently they are agitating the exact issues that Banglas agitated viz. Language, proportionate allocation of resources, self and autonomous rule, proportionate representation and exclusion of Pakistani people from the exploitation of local resources (Land, labour, capital) or decision making thereof. They're raising the same grievances, as you rightly stated, of 'Wadakhilafi'.
Secondly there's a difference between what Indian Govt did on 5th August. It took out the bottlenecks that were blocking the development in Kashmir under the iron curtain called 'special status's. UN resolutions in the bin, UN wouldn't be accountable if Kashmiris were not getting electricity, roads, supply of food and education. It would've been the Indian govt that would've been answerable to its people (Kashmiris). So the abrogation was to facilitate the development and protection of Kashmiris rather than exploiting their resources for the benefit of China. Lastly, you cannot consider the likes of Republic tv and most other hypernationalist media houses getting the patronage of indian govt as serious news media. Even Indians don't consider them as such, so its not surprising to find them being outrageous and ludicrous. Manzoor Pishtin and Gilgit Baltistan, for them are all one and same thing. That's the reason that you left mainstream media in the first place.
It is a bit more than just developmental reason for Kashmir. I have been to Srinagar much before article 370 was removed. They had the roads even then, just the Hindus never came. I went there because it was my homeland. The article 370 was dropped because without it in case of any terrorist activities the military can take no action because the president's rule couldn't be applied. It's surprising that as an Indian you have so little info on what really happened in Kashmir.
Ladakh was anyway Buddhist - the problem was their numbers were so small their voices would never be heard which is why it was turned into UT so that all money earned from tourism would stay in Ladakh.

Provision of Security is intrinsic and in fact prerequisite for developmental admin. Its not necessary to expressly state that one of the reasons to abrogate was to ensure better security and peace to Kashmiris. Yesterday I roamed for 5 hours and finally managed to get a 20kg flour bag for 2500 in black. We are being exploited, only showing the beautiful scenaries of Hunza, Nagar, Astore and Skardu is not enough. Government of Pakistan has to address the issues of subsidized wheat, load shedding and clean drinking water.

In many Indian states & tribal areas having distinct culture, tradition, language & history are constitutionally protected and one other than native is allowed to buy land or settle due to the protection given under schedule 5 & 6 of the Indian constitution.

Thank goodness someone is talking about GB. I once watched a woman doing a show on high rate of suicides in GB. It was so pathetic, the lady didn’t even know about a thing. She might have confused GB’s culture with KPK. Her questions to people were “ why are you making your women do suicide?” , “ you guys kill them if she likes someone. “,…….! Anyways, schooling standard and literacy rate of GB is way better than schools in Punjab. They know the importance of education. Children have to walk miles on mountains everyday to reach their schools. GB has suffered extremism to an extent because of tableegi Jamat’s preaching that has created division. For infrastructure, these people work together to make roads in small villages. One more thing that rest of Pakistan should learn from GB, they have a separate area in their homes for their animals unlike You witness in Punjab.
Tablighi jamat is a evil cult. Even Saudi Arabia banned them but If India talks about banning them hypocrite muslims around the world start whining about Islamophobia. No wonder there is tsunami of ex-muslim and people like ex muslim Sahil, Adam Seeker, Sachwala, Harris Sultan, Ghalib Kamal etc are gaining popularity.
Sounds like rest of India, we have same problem with jamats. They are so oppress to education and development. And you say anything…They start playing minority and religion card. I’m a regular listener and a fan. I love your work, and I really appreciate that your efforts in particular case when as you said no Pakistani media outlets are giving a damn about us, as GBian, I’m super grateful to Indian media outlets for at least giving much needed media coverage and to government of India for their on and off mentioning of GB at different international platforms.
Seeing how Pakistan has been abusing GB’s natural and human resource in the region by Pakistan, which has a long history of exploitation, exporting state sponsored sectarian terrorism, and Pakistan itself being a failed country, we GBians have no business with the state of Pakistan and let the people and leadership of the country keep abusing us and our future generations.
Pakistan’s history in Baluchistan, in Wazirstan, in Afganistan and other neighbors, I don’t think we should expect any better treatment from them.
Gilgit Balchistan people should sign agreements for autonomy with India and become a part of India, just like the state of Sikkim, where their culture and land is protected and yet they still enjoy all the facilities like any other Indian in jobs, politics etc.

I am from kargil ladakh. Same thing is happening here in ladakh also . We are continuously protesting after 2019 which the main stream indian media never shows. Before we had land protection but after abrogation of article370 and 35 A the govt first promised us that our land and jobs will be protected but now they are showing their true colors. We have been continuously protesting for 6th schedule in ladakh under which our land and jobs are protected bcz 97% of the population of ladakh comes under schedule tribe. Now recently they passed a new bill in ladakh without the consent of the LAHDC( which is the local governing body of ladakh) under which all the barren lands or land which are not under private control belongs to central government instead of local govt i.e LAHDC which means even being the native people of the land we are not the owner of the land and soon they will exploit our resources and change the demographics as they sarted in western part where our historical grazing lands are turned into army training ground. Also in kargil many of our historical polo grounds are illegally under army control.There have been numerous protest all our ladakh in last few years but the media never shows. Both pakistan and india are exploiting our resources and wants to keep us with themselves instead of holding peblicite. Even though 97% of the population are under schedule tribe they still denying us the status of 6th schedule and our leaders in parliament are all sold to current bjp govt. They betrayed us. I hope my balti people are fighting for their right their just like us here, and soon we will be together like it used to be before 1948. ❤

Also you have highlighted wrong reporting by Indian media about agitations in the said area. Please continue to do such analysis/reporting to enlighten the public of subcontinent & also try to bring public close with each other in subcontinent. You know pretty well that 1958 onwards, there was either dictatorial govts.in Pakistan or hybrid regeimes backed by Miltestablishment & public was nor given the due representation. Also the media is controlled & psychophant. However we hope the expanding social media with credibility will enlighten the public. Thanks.

Correction my brother: section 370 of the Indian Constitution which allowed Kashmir it's special status was completely decided by Indian leaders and included into our (India's) constitution on an indefinite but temporary basis keeping certain conditions in mind for the problems of the people of Kashmir due to political instability at that time. But, that problem never got resolved and infact became worse with the export of Terrorists by Pakistan hence, it was repealed with very good reasons ( as it was meant to be). Now, the people of Kashmir are absolutely in favour of this move as they enjoy the same benefits as any other citizen of India...talk about your Gilgit-Baltistan, tell us how much facilities are given to them by your country ??
If Kashmiri people were in favour of section 370 ,then why lockdowns were imposed and no one was allowed to go outside when section was imposed , it was forcefully imposed and you are trying to portray as if modi govt has done something for Kashmir , butcher will always be butcher be it Kashmir or gujrat , they just want outsiders to out number local people so when any time referendum happens , they can make their claim true that Kashmiris are happy with India , but every one can see no one is blind , your equal rights Ka choran is not gonna hide reality !
