This fits them perfectly. Riku knows the darkness. No criticisms. This was phenomenal.
Aqua adopted Riku she’s so sweet
'🔺️ sora' was a good touch.
For a second I thought he was gonna use the wayfinder to call Sora.
No sora used link block with his dream eater. Simple and clean.
ya know I really did wish riku save aqua wouldn't meant more considering what they had in common. but sora coming and stealing the spotlight wasn't so bad either😌 also riku hitting that high note with that reflect was just 👌 can't put it into words.
The fact that sora came in and link blocked for his dream eater riku is perfect.
It's such a damn tragedy the Tangled World in KH3 had to be a shot-for-shot of the movie and not inrocorpate the show in any way a Riku/Varian/Aqua/Cass plotline would've been golden. But I guess that's also a world where "anti-Aqua" actually amounted to anything too
It may sound like a ridiculous idea, but I'd love for a Kingdom Hearts TV show that was a musical--along with fixing story problems.
Kingdom hearts the musical has been something I've wanted for years...
@@captianbacon KH2 Atlantixa made me want this--plus Utada Hikaru doing the theme songs and Ventus/Roxas being played by Jesse McCartney and Kairi/Xion being played (at one point) by Hayden Panettiere.
I like the lyrics of turning all the screws. Because it fits this fight so well. Aqua's heart is letting darkness in the screws that keep it out have been undone. Meanwhile riku is trying to take that darkness and trap it in his heart. The screws are tightening
If I must take KH3 as canon, this is totally the interpretation I'm headcanonning. Fantastic work. Top tier creativity and skill from start to end.

This hits so dang hard, and it’s clear to see how much work you put into this animatic!
I love the shot composition and “camera” angles you chose throughout the entire production. And my god, at 2:38 when you simulated the effect of the camera / Aquas rotating around Riku during the climax; it’s so smooth! Your talent especially shines through. It’s just so DAMN good!

You nailed their emotions so well, my favourite part is when Aqua screams and splits into a myriad of clones surrounding Riku! Also that button prompt in the end was genius.
Another 10 outta 10 these animatics are peak caprice

Riku tried to bring Aqua back to her senses… but a decade in the dark realm and all she’s gone through has driven mad to the point she can’t even see logic anymore… but to be fair, 99.99% of humanity would do the same thing if they were stuck in the dark realm dealing with what Aqua had to deal with for a decade.
Also the little thing that pops up and says. ‘🔼 Sora’ pretty funny.
Is it just me or did Riku try harder and defend himself longer in this animation than in the game?

They really should have used Aqua for an Xehanort Clone in the Final Fight. Would have worked better than bringing back a known traitor.

Would Revan and Meetra Surik count as redeemable, by "KH" standards ? I wished "Kingdom Hearts" would explore that time period of the "Star Wars" galaxy.
"Winnie: the Pooh" did its job. Now, they must see the story of idealistic adults turned soldiers.
Does Riku have parents he’s the only 1 in the destiny trio that doesn’t have any I understand that master Eraqus adopted Terra, Aqua and the sea salt trio is found family but not Riku. What happened to Riku’s parents?
Probably absent or abusive, given the lack of care when his world is destroyed.
