He is also a specialist in Nazi infiltration, ironic considering its strongly implied that assuming he even CAN speak German fluently he is so unconvincing he rather just don’t speak at all. In fact, apparently it’s enough that he LOOKS the part of an Aryan Übermensch to make all the Nazis cum in their panties and not question how come the man they were talking to for 5 minutes didn’t spoke ONCE

I think it's because you run around doing good things, sometimes just for the act of doing something good. Like getting Max's toys and protecting the concentration camp survivors. I know you go in to get Set, but you're still going out of your way to reunite couples, fetch lost wedding rings, and protect the prisoners just because they deserve protecting. Sometimes you just need to be a hero.

Actually, I just started watching it and I've already read the book. I know that there's significantly more resistance to the regimes in the show than the book, but I'm specifically talking about how the uber-violent elctropunk Wolfenstein series would handle a vibrant 80s setting. By the 80's they would most likely have been more liberal. The point of National Socialism was to make Germany physically and psychologically strong for the war and for a period afterwards. It wasn't an ideology they wished to spread all over the world like communism. Sigh, if only there existed proper education in schools about WW2 people's heads wouldn't be filled with all these silly fantasies.

At first I thought this game would cartoonishly exaggerate the Nazis, but then I realized they were actually being SOFT on them. People in a vegetative state (B.J.) not being euthanized? Actual Poles running around, not being dead or deported to somewhere in the east? There's even some talk of a "Poland"? What the hell? :D

    • @dIRECTOR259
      @dIRECTOR259 9 років тому +33

***** Yeah but its been 20 years! Standing law in Germany was to euthanize people like BJ, and it took them 20 years to do it? You might say "he was in Poland", and the game does say that - but there was no such thing, all of Poland was pretty much annexed into Germany in 1939. There was the "General Government", a special part of the German Reich (previously Poland) where the Poles had been carted off to, to await deportation into the East (the ex-Soviet Union) - if they're lucky, or maybe even forced sterilization. Or both. There would have been no Poles or Polish state in Europe 20 years after a German victory.
Another strange thing is that they refer to the city of Stettin as a city in "Poland". Now, Stettin is today in Poland (its called Szczecin) - but it was only given to Poland after WWII. Before WWII, before even Hitler, it was a German city. In Germany. They seem to have been working off a modern-day map xD
Another issue is that "Germania", Hitler's Berlin, is full of skyscrapers and what look like apartment blocks. Hitler disliked skyscrapers, and had a very detailed idea of what the center of Berlin would look like:

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the game. It's smooth, funny, very enjoyable, and has some character depth, even to Mr. Meathead himself, Blazkowicz. It's goofy and silly, but quite well put together and has a sense of humour that balances well with some of the more tender moments. One thing I didn't really get though was how quickly Anya falls for Blazkowicz, but, as if to illustrate my point, even some of their sex scenes range from funny to intimate. It's quite a good game overall.

One thing I did hate about the new order was that by the end, you've killed more Nazis than were actually killed in WW2, and Deathshead calls you a murdering villain throughout the whole final boss fight lol I was thinking how hilariously bipolar it was, in the weird way that it literally forced you to kill ten billion Nazis, then insinuates that the whole thing was your fault. Like a shrewish stepmother who forces you to come inside and play with your toys, then calls you a nerd for having no friends XDDD

Right before this video was an ad for "The Last Of Us: Remastered"
Which is "The Last Of Us" but for the PS4 with literally no differences in gameplay, graphics, or story.
So basically, give Sony more money, and don't fucking say anything.
This flask is seeming more and more relevant.
Also, for anyone unaware, reviews are posted early on The Escapist website, go there for the next episode early.

If that were separated I would stop buying COD all together, but of course that's how they keep most of their *INTELLIGENT* customers.
If they make Zombies a standalone game, I would buy that shit, and tell Treyarch to go fuck themselves.

omg no difference lol.. please read a little before you say your words. PS4's getting updated graphics. native 1080p ( and im going to assume 60 fps since its last gen ) and huge improvement to textures , draw distance and lighting. And not to mention all those jaggies that ps3 had. Felt like i could get my hands cut just from looking at it. Hooray for Anti aliasing. Its also going to be released DLC included. Well worth the $60 imo

this game was pretty good, although two things really grinded my gears. The first being the fact they took your weapons away every single level, now I'm the sort of person who get's attached to his weapons and taking them away every level really annoyed me. Second was the annoying as hell heavy type enemies that take 10 magazines to kill. Espically in this game where ammo can be quite scarce I don't want to waste all of it on taking out one weak spot free enemy!

Though I have to say - I really like Blazkowicz as a character in New Order. It's like Yahtzee says; he really comes across as tired and exhausted from fighting all these Nazis. I mean, he's been murdering hundreds of them and yet there just keep coming new ones. Nazis everywhere. It's really captured by one line Blazko says in Berlin - "Is there anything in this world worth saving?"

Why didn't they make picking up ammo automatic, instead i'm getting shot in the ass while i'm groping corpses for bullets.

tiakpark I live in Greece and yes they are literally Nazis. They deny it of course but the ideology is the same. I'm talking about the political party known as Golden Dawn, some people here might have heard of them. If you live in Europe there's a higher chance you do. Luckily, some of the party's members have been arrested due to illegal possession of firearms among other things. (Such as gunning down a rapper who spoke publicly against them) Only guns legal in Greece are hunting rifles. The only reason their votes have somewhat dropped is probably due to that incident. The police broke into their homes and found posters of nazi symbols, Hitler and copies of Mein Kampf. They call their leader Fuhrer for Christ's sake!
