I've looked at both of these, and can't decide. I would be using it for an sdr radio receiver only, from a hf active loop 0-30hmz to a vhf scan pole 30mhz-2000mhz
The CX-20 is a very poor switch. The spring contacts eventually loose compression. Mine don't even have round metal contacts at at the ends of the contact springs.
i built the same but the SWR changed!what is the problem?
Another good video Professor Rusty :) Quick question what's the difference between CB and ham?
CB (crispy bacon) is just the ham sliced thin and cooked till crispy
CB (Citizens Band) is a free band open to anybody. HAM or armature Banda are only legal to use if you’re licensed.
What happens if I key up on radio A but radio B is the one connected will it damage radio A ?
Not if it was a quick key up before you realised.
Would this work on tvs
Yeah :)
Never use that Italian zetagi junk!
The blue one is oké, can take a 1KW. The isolation between the twoo ports of the blue switch, is at least 50 dB @ 145 MHz and about 60 dB + @ 30MHz on lower frequency's more than 60db isolation. Wat means that u can use the switch safly the other way around 2 TRX and 1 ANT with 500 watt from 1 - 30 MHz. The maximum safe input of a receiver is 10 dBm, prefered is 0 dBm or less! The insertion loss of the blue switch is about 0.2 dB.
