Since Hexa is a discontinued vehicle, it depends on which variant you are getting at what price. & what is your requirements
Variants :
Base: XE
Mid range: XM XMA
Upper mid: XM+
Top End: XT XTA XT4x4
1, If you want AWD 4x4 Hexa that is only available on top end XT model
2, If you want Automatic transmission that is available on midrange & top end
3, Reverse Parking, Fog lamps, Auto Climate, Rain sensor, etc are available on Upper mId & Top end
4, Hexa was also configurable as a Captain seat or as a middle row bench seat, which again depends on what is available on the 2nd hand market.
If your drives include an off-road or bad patch of road avoid 19" alloys, tires are very expensive & those are prone to alloy damage.

HEXA is BETTER than the BEST cars in this Segment. HEXA was discontinued because they gave a costly car at a very low price. The same car with Toyota Brand may cost between 25 to 30 Lakhs. Still people will admire my HEXA when it's on-road.

Hexa bahut hi underrated gadi hai , you know jab aap accelerator debate hai bahot hi condifence ke saath cruise karti hai bahut maza aata hai , kuch bad aspects bhi hai jaise silencer crack ho jata hai , aur maintenence pe kaafi dhayaan dena hota hai , mujhe yaad hai jab ye suv discontinue hui thi , iske chaahne waale kam ho gaye the , demand bahut kam thi ye showroom main 6- 6 lakh tak discount main biki thi .

I have an August 2017 Tata Hexa XE. It has done about 26400 kilometres during the last five years ( till 03/11/2022). All the driving was in city/highway. Last week I noticed a crack in the silencer and took the car to Tata Service Centre in Bhopal. Detailed inspection revealed five large cracks in the two portions/parts of the Tail Pipe Assembly Post Silencer and one large crack in the Assembly Main Silencer. I also learnt that this was a common problem in Tata Hexa due to which design of silencer has been changed and now comes with a single exhaust. I am surprised as to why Tata Motors hasn't recalled models with faulty parts for inspection/ replacement. I was plain lucky to have discovered the cracks by chance & replaced before complete breakdown somewhere enroute. It cost me Rs 19742/- including parts & labour. If you own a Tata Hexa please get the entire Silencer assembly checked for cracks as a precautionary measure.

Own a hexa xt 2017 model, yes the handbrake is the worst ever used on hexa, never works perfectly. Had got it serviced at the service centre, they said it cant be repaired permanently, even the safari storme has the same issue. Exhaust issue is yet to be noticed on my car but yes the issue is a known one. The spares availability is often late supplied. Looking for a left tail lamp but still not provided by the asc yet. Hexa relaunch is required

I have 2017 XTA with 19 inch wheels , fuel efficiency 9-12 kmpl
1. Tata service centre denied hand brake service so I got new rear disc and disc inner liners got replaced at friends garage (was challenging task ) now it works fine .
2. Exhaust broke at 1,30,000km got it welded , temporary solution.
3. Car replacement parts are super expensive and workmanship at service centre is poor.
4. The suspension is best , people will love the ride on Hexa .
The suspension setup is enough to outsell all the problems with Hexa .
Bhai innova 22 lakh ki hai aur hexa 2nd top laghbhag 15 lakh ki par takkar barabar deti hai
Comfort is excellent, i have driven for 800+ km in a day, no tiredness. 4x4 is the best.

If you have rear disk brakes hand brakes setting can be done . My Hexa hand brakes works just like my Honda city in maximum one to two clicks .
