Spring Bass Fishing on Lake Natoma April 30th

- In this video I head out to Lake Natoma in Folsom California for a five day fishing trip in May to catch largemouth bass on beds. I am on a stand up paddle board with minimal tackle and rods to show you where and how I catch multiple bass including a 6lber.

@@alesieur1971 I recently moved back out here (Placerville) from Fruita, Colorado so I haven't gotten out a whole lot yet. Used to bank fish mainly, which seems to be just about worthless out here at this point 😅 I just bought a Feelfree Moken 12.5 V2 last week! Heading out to Natoma tomorrow for the first time, hence finding your videos lol but I need to get familiar with the kayak and test out my anchor setup and all that jazz, so I'm not too worried if we don't catch anything. I know the bite is tough out there, specially right now.

No. I have not been out lately. Too dang hot 🥵
Wouldn’t plan on eating any of those fish, high level of contamination in that lake probably due to Aerojet and other sources. I go hiking there often.

Liked your video though, professional quality video and you have a nice video personality. One time I saw a school of medium sized bass just off the bike trail by those high cliffs at Negro Bar. Must have been about a dozen of them.
@@browsman2328 thank you ! they run in wolf packs at certain times of the year chasing prey. I have seen them out there as well.
