Luna De Los Carrizales - Acustic at Home - Lake Atitlan - Guatemaya

"Luna de los Carrizales," written in Spain many years ago, tells the story of how the moon takes away sorrows to hide them in the sky when one of my ancestors asks for it. With a few Qichua words and a distinctly Andean flow, it serves as a call for all the stories that were taken from us when the conquistadors erased many cultures in the Americas.
The mask I'm wearing like a hat is actually a souvenir inspired by the Aya Huma mask, which is used in the Ecuadorian Andes for many events, but mainly during Inti Raymi.
