The snares were never there in the original version.
Something about this song is just oddly melancholic, I don't know why.

Tiny Little Adiantum but it never starts
one of the best things the touhou community has done even though i cant hear a single bit of yuuka's theme in it but whatever
I dismissed it for a couple years but after a serious listen I hummed the og song on top of this and it matches almost identically with just some added piano and flute flair near the end.
I think if you layer both songs (start exactly where both the music starts) they should have approximately the exact same tempo and the same points where the general melody corresponds (the Shibayan version is bossa-fied so the number of times each chord is plucked is multiplied for each note in the og song). Oh and you have to take note that the key that the songs are in are totally different, so while the melody is the same it still sounds way different.
That is the beauty of Shibayan, they keep pretending to create "touhou rearrangements" while all they did is constantly composing original bossa nova masterpieces that sounds nothing like touhou ost themselves.

Walking home after a long journey
The only story i can progress with this song is a story of a princess, a daughter of someone rich or very important person, and a servant or guardian, or maybe someone older that protects or takes care of the princess. It starts on a very cliche way of meet up by bumping on each other, and begins for them to meet with each other on other events like the princess getting kidnapped, him saving her, he takes her to the police but she won't, and he starts taking care of her until she is found by her parents' guards. She is taken away and the guy was thanked but the princess doesn't want to leave, and since he was someone the princess trusted the most at the worst circumstances the guards weren't there, he became her personal bodyguard.
And the story stretches. The princess becomes jealous because he befriends their head maid, and some of the butlers, and other guards. He also saves the boss, the princess's father. He gets more recognition that the lower guards tried to frame him to something he hasn't done and the princess was there to save him. But it was all right because the head maid and others the guy has befriended helped him with the princess.
Finally, near the ending, the boss was actually in large debt and has to forcrfully use his daughter to marry someone he has to pay in full debt. The debt collector's son is not that bad but a charming one but has a sadist side. Before it ends, some of the maids and butlers were actually worling for the FBI and Interpol because it was then that the princess's father is colluded with the debt collector's human and drug trafficking and illegal smuggling. Before the sadist dude takes the princess with him on the rooftop, the guy, the personal bodyguard of the princess, pulls her away and instead he was pulled by the sadist dude.
Finally, the personal bodyguard wakes up with the princess on his arms while he is laying on the hospital bed, and seemed thay he lost a leg. The princess's father was given a second chance for working with the international agencies. And the boss asks the guy personally to marry his daughter, the princess, because he was there for her for most of the times than what he had with her. He rejects it at first but he will wait until she finishes college. The princess cries and they embraced.
The end credit is their wedding years later, while the people the guy befriended was there. The boss gave them a house, and asks for 10 grandchildren. At the end of the scene, both of the guy and the princess's hands are shown with a wedding ring, and a small hand of a toddler.

Ok so im in a weird situation,
This year i discovered Touhou for its music and i really liked the franchise, but now im having some existencial crisis cuz almost everything i liked before its something related to Touhou (like this song and some old memes)
