Did not know Emma was going through this back problem. Glad to hear she is improving.
I've had a stroke, and this beautiful lady is such an inspiration i will walk and dance again !
I was with a tour group in Ireland about 10 years ago I think.. In Galway I was not distracted but attracted to this dancing. I was amazed at the footwork. I did take a little video clip. I lost my group for a while. At home in New Zealand I saw this lady Emma O'Sullivan on UA-cam. What a lovely smile & relaxed dancing style. You are amazing; an inspiration for all who are facing challenges. Thank you
I hope Miss Emma is taking care of herself and allowing herself to heal.
I've been a big fan of Emma by watching her on UA-cam only. I always had the impression she is a lovely lady but nothing prepared me for the great lady that shows through in this interview. She is so articulate, intelligent, warm and dare I say it - just beautiful - and a superb ambassador for Ireland. My wife is experiencing severe back pain at this time and is receiving physiotherapy so I'm going to encourage her to sit down tomorrow and watch this inspiring interview. More videos Emma please.
Hi Alan, thank you for your lovely comments, Emma was a joy to interview and as you say such an inspirational speaker and motivator. Best wishes to your wife. I hope she feels better soon. Billy
As a 40 year I fell off my. Motor bike onto my knees and used yoga exercises to stretch the tendons and at 82 know I can fall on the floor and still jump up. So don’t become the illness an do yoga exercises and keep dancing into your 80 s.
Everything a human being should aspire to, beauty, grace and intelligence!
Oh my, I am sorry for what you went through. I had that experience when a driver went through a stop sign and broadsided me on my motorcycle. Three years of physical therapy, steroid injections and finally back surgery as my final chance followed. My post surgery recovery took three and one half years and I am back to 90%. Life began again. God bless you!
So talented , so beautiful . Wish her get well and gets back to her love of Dance .
She's an inspiration to many and an ambassador for Ireland
Didn't know she had such severe back issues and happy to hear she's healed very well.
As a fan I always marveled at how she seemed to float or glide along the street. I hope to enjoy her dancing for years to come.
Watching her street dance is a joy. She must also feel a strong sense of liberation, and of empowerment as she commands everyone's attention with her skill, grace, and beauty.
she's beautiful
This girl is some thing special and inspirational Love from Australian
Emma the beautiful floating lady, wishing you a speedy and full recovery.
Emma is so beautiful and talented.
Emma is one of the most elegant and enchanting Sean-nós dancers I've ever seen. But dance does take a heavy toll. I had a friend who taught yoga to a leading ballet company, and was horrified to find that half of them were dancing in excruciating pain from broken bones in their feet, subsisting on handfuls of painkillers. Not wholesome. Good to hear that Emma has begun to listen to her body - it's a lesson that many dancers never seem to learn.
First time I got to see you up-close and WOW
Nobody does it better!!! Emma is beauty!!
I had no idea Emma had gone through all of this, but I can relate. I have a disability and have had back pain issues through the years. Everything she said about paying attention to your body, slowing down, reevaluating priorities, and maintaining a positive attitude during COVID-19 lockdown is absolutely right and makes me admire her all the more. I wish her all the best in her dancing and teaching endeavors. Slainnte from the USA!
My wife went through that - crying in pain. every night. Now she has 6 bolts in her spine and walks a mile (1.6km) every day. Emma's dancing is looks so liberating and joyful. Mesmerizing. Odd that more people on the street don't recognize her (and probably think she's a crazy lady- ha). Hope she stays healthy.. Thanks for making life uplifting for so many. -Not to forget Billy: great show!
Thanks for your comment. Sounds like your wife is fighting hard - best wishes to her :) Emmas story is quite incredible. Thanks for watching. Billy
Such a confident inspiring individual. Respect to Emma.
I am so glad she is doing well. When I get to Ireland, I hope she dances with me. I had a mini-stroke with my right arm paralyzed. I am glad I can swing it around fully for our future dance together.
Such a fascinating and charming Lady. I do so wish Emma the very best of life and a speedy recovery. Emma, your smile makes the world glow.
We Love You so much EMMA!.. please get well, be well, enjoy Life... ALL the Best..!
Been watching her dance for sometime now. Beautiful lady and wonderful dancer. So sorry to hear of her back issues. Best wishes from Arizona USA for a speedy recovery and a return to a happy life!
I had no idea Emma went through this pain! I took her online autumn 2021 Sean Nos class and found her to be a wonderful teacher. She is such a warm and articulate woman and now I know also a very brave one to go through what she did.
Emma, thank you for this, and your insights. You are so right about smiling. Sharon Shannon is a another fine exponent of 'the smile' (and another great ambassador for Ireland).
An amazing soul. Thanks Emma! You are an inspiriation
Thank you Emma for your insights and sharing. You’re a wonderful human being. 💕
I LOVE this lady
Inspiration personified. Love watching her dance as she makes it look so easy. And she is not bad looking too!
Godspeed, beautiful Emma! Please, take good care of yourself! 💐❤️
OMG How incredibly charming and gorgeous she is. Shame to hear it takas such a cost. Sincere greetings from Russia! UPD: Ain't she's most incredibly beautiful woman ever lived? Please, start a vote.
Emma O'Sullivan - very cute, and so talented.
God bless this wonderful soul! We all are looking forward to her resuming her life to what her expectations are! Love her dances! I was worried that her videos disappeared and was asking myself if she retired or something bad happened. This interview made me relax and know that she will resume doing the things she loves to do. Jim.
I found out recently that I have the same issue. I injured my back snowboarding years ago. I have seen chiropractors and doctors but none ever suggested that i look into getting surgery to get it fixed. After researching it myself (after many years of pain) I am starting to think surgery maybe the way to go. I am so happy that you have gotten through it and are back to dancing again. I use to ballroom dance, I would love to do it again!
A brilliant interview highlighting a wonderfully talented lady who has a wisdom way beyond her years. Delighted Emma has recovered so well from her surgery and wishing her a long and happy life whilst giving joy to all she comes in contact with.
Wow
If I ever make it over to Galway, my visit won't be complete until I watch Emma dancing in the street.
What a fabulous inspirational story, Emma is a legend on here. Had no idea she'd suffered so much, you never could tell, makes her even more if a legend. I must come to Gallway and Connemara. I've been to Co Clare 30 odd years ago, way too long. We stayed just outside Ennis. Absolutely loved it. Thank you and lots of love from a fellow West Coast dweller from over the Irish Sea. 🍀🍀🍀🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🏴🏴🏴
Well done Emma great to hear that you've recovered so well. God bless and keep those magic feet dancing to the beat of our fantastic community here in Connemara ❤❤

I understand you Emma I suffer from vertigo somehow is very diffivult to struggle with
For that kind of back problem do what yoga people call warrior posture every morning. The variation where you look forward. Two minutes every day will fix it.

She is just grand, but the simple fact remains that 16bluesherbert90 is the most adorable and beautiful of all the women ❤.
Where is Emma in 2024 ?
I'm Tommy Farrell. I live in Manhattan. I worked for Emma. She once smacked me in the face because I didn't get her cappuccino right. It was humiliating.
Upyahgurlyah!!!
