Alan Silvestri did the score. Same guy who composed BTTF, all 3. Predator 1 and 2. Who Framed Roger Rabbit. At least one of the Avengers movies. Many more besides those. I think he did the score for Forrest Gump as well.
Brings back childhood memories of watching this with my dad. It has it's moments, but I'll be honest, it's mainly the music and the quano city chase sequence that carries this movie and the small laughs that Emilio gives me that gets me through this mixed bag.

James Coburn was the quintessential hero. Long overdue is the oscar for this man. No other face or voice carried such weight as this man.
He was great but there are others that are right up there with him. Sam Elliot & Robert Mitchum come to mind.
FYI, James Coburn won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in the 1999 drama "Affliction." He died three years later at age 74.
His voice, Sam Elliot, Patrick Stewart, and Morgan Freeman are the best narrative voices in Hollywood.
