Great review guys. My thoughts: I’ve been playing the P790 blacks with Project X LZ 6.0. I’m a 3 index with a driver speed of 105-108. I’m telling you this because I wanted to qualify my comment in response to the review’s claims that the club had tendencies for inconsistent ball speeds on square hits- aka “zingers”. I am not experiencing this at all. I find these clubs incredibly consistent- just that they’re massively long. I bomb them and consistently. They are at least club and half longer than my old AP2s- I know, strong lofts. But the trajectories are the same so it all works out. They are also just as workable for manipulating flight as any club I’ve played. Best iron ever built. I was a life-long Titleist loyalist. These irons brought me to that dark side, and it’s oh so sweet.
Thanks lads, great explanation. About the DG SL, what shaft sits in its place now? I’m still playing them in ZB’s. (PS Will you be getting the new cobra cb/mb). Keep up the great work!
Cheers Ken, nothing really comes close to that SL as the tip and overall shaft diameter was much wider for great torsion stability. Closest now is KBS CTaper and Project X LZ or PXi. 👍🏻
Hi, Great video. The P-790 is going to out perform the P-770 as the P-790 have stronger lofts. Could you compare the two with the lofts being the same please. This will enable viewers to see if there's any difference between the two clubs. Thanks.
Hey Ian, your thinking that the lofts on the fitting clubs are the standard lofts on the website but our fitting heads are the same lofts so we can test apples for apples. The speedfoam and the much thinner face on the P790 is doing the job. Trust me it’s a fact. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻
Love how your videos have so much more information than just the club.
Thanks for that. 👌🏻
Excellent review again lads!

Good stuff great insight on the speed for your irons. Just some feedback from some of our clients. 👊🏼
Not bad for a couple guys from UPS. The speed foam bottle had a nice sound too 😂✌️⛳️
😆😆👍🏻
Awesome lads. Very professional job!

No Cobra CB or MB scheduled for review but will have it for fitting.
