I got a Lab puppy, 7 weeks old, when I watch your videos, he sits up and watches the tv and wags his tail when Cole is talking. Also " ERRR My GERD" ( sp?) means run for the fridge its snack time. P.S. kind of jealous that I wont be able to get the TV channel.. :( but keep up the good work, you two bring smiles to lots of faces the way the messages read!!!!
Hi Cole and Brian hope you all are doing good today and your family too.God bless you all today and always.Thank you for sharing everything. I enjoy watching you all.Have a blessed church service Sunday.
Heck yeah...congratulations on making it to the big leagues with SD TV station! Finally we'll be able to say that there is actually something good on TV for a change. It couldn't happen to some nicer folks.
Way to go Pam! It just goes to show that great youtube channels have great subscribers. I mean look at us...aren't we great? God, we are awesome!!! And humble too...
Its awesome that you guys and your farm will be featured on your regional TV network. Coincidentally, our farm has the same honor occasionally, being featured on such network shows as " America's Most Wanted", " To Catch a Predator", and " Alien Encounters." Dad says that the publicity is ok, but he is running out of bail money. And, its great that a celebrity like Pam paid you a visit. Brushing shoulders with famous folks is always memorable. In our case, we are still bragging that , Edgar Fartbower, who, as you know, was the leading bowling ball salesman in Western Ohio once ate at Taco Bell as he was driving through our county and had to throw up next to our mailbox. We still don't mow that spot.
@@fredm434 I met him briefly as he was guzzling Pepto Bismo at my mailbox after his Taco Bell incident. We really didn't talk much because he was moaning a lot. He was grateful fir all the help tho. He sent me an old alley bowling ball in the mail. It took a while to steam all the postage stamps from it before I could use it tho.
Congratulations gentleman on your TV thing you have going on. Please don't forgot all us viewers on youtube. I've been here for a very long time and would miss you and your dad dearly. (PLUS I HAVEN'T HAD CABLE IN OVER10 YEARS. Not to mention I'm probably about 2,500 miles or more away)
Just my two cents. I see you two working together and I have to advise, from MY experience. Gentlemen, make the MOST of every moment you have together!! Enjoy each other, learn from each other, treasure each other. The day is coming when today's memories will REALLY warm your heart and make you feel great. I had to leave home, join the air force, and grow up to realize what a fantastic man (and father) my dad really was. I never did tell him that I loved him as much as I should have. I did not see what a really super man, and father he was, until life kicked me in the face and HIS quiet teachings helped me cope with it. I see you guys working together and I want to tell you what a wonderful gift you have, to have each other, here and now!! Please, appreciate each other, and build those wonderful memories.. They make it worth waking up in later years.
I’m not a rancher or farmer but they sure look like healthy critters. I buy steak and i say “ Hello did you come from Sonne farms because you’re delicious “
Brian< I heard a joke. The farmer was pulling a calf, when he finished he looked up & his 4 yr old son was at the fence. Oh no I don't want to get into the birds & bees, so he ask the boy do you have any questions? The boy said yes, how fast was that calf going when it hit that cow. Feel free to use it.
Oh dear Cole, you've created an insta-monsta in your Dad. LOL! 😆 I'm loving going back n watching old video's. God Bless from 6° in Surfcoast Australia. 🙏😁
Great video and awesome to see your guest from Wa. I'm a SD transplant thanks to Uncle Sam and the military but when the rain and gray days are too much here in Wa I wish myself back 'home' all the time. Lots of family there still.....missing my home state today!!! The cattle and new additions are looking FINE! Great job guys. That is a heck of a lot of work ...........mercy me and even when you're chilling you still 24x7 on that job. God bless, stay healthy and keep it going........looking fantastic on all counts! Hard work never hurts us but sometimes a lil break is nice......eh? LOL
love the channel man, y'all are doing some great things up there in South Dakota. Farmers are the backbone of this country, that's the truth. I appreciate y'all.
Hey Sonne Farms, you guys Party On , too! I was born on a farm (literally) north of you in Manitoba. Watching the seasons change on Sonne Farms brings memories from a long time ago.
Brian here's a story for ya..... My two brothers when they were 5 and 6 or so came up to the house crying and when Mom asked them what was the matter the youngest said "Kevin told me to pee on the electric fence"!!!! When she asked Kevin what are you crying about? He replied "I did it too"! Life in Minnesota on a 10 acre hobby farm...... Hugs from Minnesota
Congratulations Cole and Brian on the new TV venture I don't comment much but always watch and enjoy your amazing videos. The success of the channel is definitely down to the great relationship between the two of you and the dedication to the husbandry of your cattle. Keep enjoying doing what you do and we will all enjoy it with you.
As entertaining as ever! It's like four seasons in one day. Still amazed at how quiet your Angus are. The ones I calved used to take on the ute. No hope of walking up to tag "claves", they would beat you with the slappy & then bury you. Again, such a credit to you. Thanks for the video, I just love watching you two 🐮
The waiting 3 hours a day for Brian on the phone, is probably 2 hours of him figuring out how to work all the social media 😂😂 you know, the older folk take a little while to catch on lol
Congratulations on the TV hookup. It's always amazing to me about the number of people that don't understand anything about farming or ranching. But, hey, i grew up on a dairy farm starting in the early 1940's.
I’m the queen of leaving the water on when filling troughs at the farm I work at 😂🤦🏻♀️ There’s one particular lake that we should probably just name after me at this point 😅
Have to say guys i found your channel by accident but i have been stuck here for 2 days just watching video after video , love what you all do and hope you get bigger and bigger.
Hey, great video this time! Really enjoyed it. Congratulations on your partnership with the TV station out of Rapid! That's great news and I hope it grows your channel even more. I wish you guys all the best!!!
Morning to you guys! Sure was nice to "meet" Pam in person here and she seems like a great gal. Just giving you a heads up that if high winds, tons of snow and all around dang cold temps head your way? It is not my fault. I tried keeping it here but since I was focused on a couple mean ol' momma cows that were trying to stomp me while tagging their claves, I let go of the rope that was hanging onto this snowstorm and it escaped. Sorry. Maybe you'll forgive me if it brings you much needed moisture. LOL!
Awesome that you are on local TV. First step toward a Discovery Channel series!!! Seriously though, that's really great. And how about the wonderful lady that won the tractor?! Donated the money to her local FFA. What a great person. Mending that electric fence brought back memories of helping my grandfather mend an electric fence for the first time. That's the day I learned not to pee anywhere near an electric fence.
Do you guys ever allow someone to come visit the farm?? My husband and I love watching your videos and have wondered if you would.....thanks for letting us see a small part of your world!
Pam was lovely. Last time I was in South Dakota was in sept 99. I visited Mitchell, the Corn Palace on my way towards the west. We stayed in the the bad lands Ranch where we stayed 2 days. Suspose to be 1 night, was tired as well. We needed the break. We were travelling NY to LA via the northern route taking in the sights.
@@briansonne814 We're past the point of change Brian. Although, I wouldn't mind testing that thought by winning a billion dollar lottery. Of course you have to play to win, and that's something I haven't quite gotten around to yet.
@Sally Spiewakowski Wouldn't surprise me. It seems like the LGBTQ is becoming a hit these days and the clavin and all is right up that rainbow lol. I have actually thought to myself a few times already if it wasn't LGBTQ oriented, I mean the purdy sexy stud and the happy and such accepting daddy... that's purdy gay, wouldn't you say?...and that's all I got to say about that lmao
Cole: "Uh, I almost fell up the stairs!" Don't worry Cole, if your career in raising cattle fizzles, you can always run for President! Great to finally meet Pam Dodridge! I hope she stops by on the way back to Washington State and becomes a regular part of the family! She could certainly pass for your sister Brian Sonne. Congratulations on becoming television stars too! You could become the South Dakota version of Netflix's "The Ranch." Better start growing that mustache Brian if you're going up against the likes of Sam Elliot!
