Oooh yes!! I’m learning Spanish and Italian which are fairly similar. I’m learning knitting. I want to learn about composting, herbalism, and gardening 😁😁
I love this video. I find myself finding old hobbies or new ones that have become such a big part of my life. Gardening for sure, i love learning history and whats going on in the world today, i have dived into herbalism. My degree is in kinesiology so i love diving into that stuff as well. I never had home economics but I wish I did
I really want to work on my green thumb this year. We had to take out the old rotted raised garden beds, but I'm scouting out where to put new ones now haha.
I think this is one of the things that is wrong with the public school system. We see life as “school subjects” long after we leave the school house instead of just seeing it as natural life long learning. I’m right there with you and see it all the same way as well. I’m hoping to break that mold homeschooling my children when they get to academic age.
My mom definitely did when she taught us. I've always looked at life as I could learn anything, teach myself whatever I wanted. It's been fun being 100% in control of what I'm learning these days.
This is totally a thing for homeschool moms. We are constantly falling in love with new topics as we learn alongside our kids. 😊

Would love to see a vlog of you implementing some of these!
I would love that. I was thinking about a video of how I incorporate them into my day to day life.
In the homeschooling community this is called "Mother Culture"
Ooooh I love that!
