Metro-North

Presented in 4K - Earlier in November, I had a few hours free while in New York City. Not missing out on an opportunity to railfan the Metro North, I headed up the Hudson Line to the Riverdale station, in the Bronx of New York. Located along the shores of the Hudson River, this quiet commuter station offers some nice train watching opportunities of Amtrak and Metro North trains.
While I was only out for a few hours, I happened to catch Metro North's newest "heritage unit" as well, the MNCR 211 wrapped in a great looking New York Central scheme. As of publication, Metro North has three other "heritage units" out and about, with more to apparently come.

I really like theese type of trains amtrak using third rail

I like the P32AC-DM locomotives too.
So you know, Amtrak only uses over running 3rd rail in the vicinity of NY Penn station. The third rail you see in this video is under-running, so Amtrak can't use it. Only Metro-North's trains. On this stretch it's primarily M7s & M3s. Metro-North's P32s typically only use 3rd rail in the vicinity of GCT.
