My brother convinced me that our teenage neighbor ate people. I was four or so. Then when we started getting cards he pulls the McGwire rookie and I only got Don August.
Well the binder is worth $5 on its own, so figure $15 for the cards and you have a great buy, even if there is alot of junk era cards, they are still great cards. I like the random worn 81 topps Phillies card in there. Once again great stuff.
I agree him and Ricky Henderson were kings in my book when I was a kid and still collecting them today I have books upon book of Griffey cards and now that the new stuff puts legends in the sets it keeps me chasing more every year. Especially prizm lol with all the colors.
When I was a kid I had a collection, I thought it was worth $500; eventually sold for $100. I was lucky to get it. You got a good deal for $20. I don't collect much junk wax, the Donruss Canseco RC is scarce in centered condition; I bought until I got a 10 w/ 10 auto.
Great video and cool pick up. I would have to say the two chipper Jones rookie cards were my favorites. Pretty cool to find those hanging out in there I bet. Thanks for sharing really enjoyed the video.
The circular King B card was in the amazing, cans of ground up beef jerky. Used to pack it like chewing tobacco with my candy cigs rolled up in white tee shirt haha
Badass binder for 20 bucks!!! Some great rookie finds as well. Thanks for sharing Jon. And as always I am jealous from all your finds! Keep well my friend!
nice binder jon you did great man loved the acuna ...i went to the fleamarket this weekend found a pau gasol 2003 topps chrome rookie for a buck in a dollar box i know its basketball but i collect baseball basketball football so i was happy as crap and found three alfonso sorianos rookies from 1999 all for a buck i dont see them too often in the wild thank you for sharing your adventures with us jon
I had 1100, 1200 cards just of Nolan Ryan (including duplicates). I was 11 when I started collecting cards. 32 when I lost them. So 21 years, but who knows for sure
You made some really good deals. The binder had a lot of the cards that I had at one time, especially the Nolan Ryan's. A friend of mine had a Ryan rookie in 1990 and MAN I wanted that card! I never got one but one but I did get a Mantel (1967). I still have it and two really good Koufax cards. Thanks great video!
That’s a great story. I was lucky enough to find a pretty beat up Ryan rookie at a flea market years ago for $50. I was so excited to finally be able to own one. Keep searching and you’ll come across one for a good price. Thanks for watching!
Great buy man. Great video. Hope you and your brother stay safe traveling around this winter. Going to start getting cold here soon. Keep up the good work man.....your channel is awesome
Watching this at the end of 2024 back then that was a good score. Going by today's prices you made out like a bandit. Nothing over the top but a good score nonetheless
You would have to open a $1000 worth of packs to fill that binder up. That binder easily has $100 worth of cards in it even at a quarter a piece. The 1990 Score Bo Jackson Football/baseball is my favorite along with the Griffey Topps Traded rookie. Lot’s of other great cards as well. Nice score Jon! Take care.
I can't believe you skipped right over that 1982 Donruss Yogi Berra without mentioning it's awesomeness. If I recall, the back of that card is just blank space on about 1/2 to 2/3rds of it.
Where did you get my collection?! LOL, nah, mines still on the shelf. Almost identical, but I have a whole binder for Bo Jackson. Definitely worth the 20!
I love the treasure hunt with any sports cards and especially binders packed full of action.👍🏻
I was 8...my older brother convinced me mark McGwire used to live up the street, and he was also the singer for Metallica......
My brother convinced me that our teenage neighbor ate people. I was four or so.
Then when we started getting cards he pulls the McGwire rookie and I only got Don August.
Nice pickup. Great memory of your grandma
Thanks Brian!
For $20 that was a phenomenal deal...great pickups🤙🏽🥃
Very true
Sure it is now but you could have bought almost all of those cards back in the early 90's and still wouldn't have spent 20 bucks.
Well the binder is worth $5 on its own, so figure $15 for the cards and you have a great buy, even if there is alot of junk era cards, they are still great cards. I like the random worn 81 topps Phillies card in there. Once again great stuff.
Griffey is one of the few from that era who is "junk-wax" proof. No such thing as a bad Griffey card in a Mariner uniform.
True
Agreed!
I agree him and Ricky Henderson were kings in my book when I was a kid and still collecting them today I have books upon book of Griffey cards and now that the new stuff puts legends in the sets it keeps me chasing more every year. Especially prizm lol with all the colors.
Did he play for another team?

That binder was awesome! Loved that Acuna rookie! More than made your $$ back👍🇺🇸
TOTALLY worth the $20!! There are some great cards in there!!
Justice was my favorite player growing up and it was nice to see some other kid out there thought he was worthy to go in his little binder.
Same, whenever playing homerun derby in the neighborhood i would always call David justice!
He was one of mine also....actually the whole reason I, as a Royals fan, became a Braves fan too.
Best $20 ever spent. Really nice cards
Very true
‘84 Donruss, I believe is the best set from the 80s. Good childhood memories snagging them up! #ironman
The Griffey Jr rookie was my fav, but remarkable buy the binder for $20!! Wow
Very true

great buy on that binder, I am a huge Cal fan. Would love to get that psa10 one day.
Great find Congrats.
Good find! Thanks for sharing.Well worth it!
Sweet binder! Some nice cards! Good deal especially with the Acuna RC! Thanks for sharing!!!
This was like flipping through my childhood binder! Much the same! Great content.
Thanks for watching!
Great video and cool pick up. I would have to say the two chipper Jones rookie cards were my favorites. Pretty cool to find those hanging out in there I bet. Thanks for sharing really enjoyed the video.
Thanks Ray! That was definitely a nice surprise.
The circular King B card was in the amazing, cans of ground up beef jerky. Used to pack it like chewing tobacco with my candy cigs rolled up in white tee shirt haha
That’s what I was thinking. I remember seeing similar ones in the mid 90s. That is great you went full greaser style with the candy cigs!
Dude, great pick ups. My only local shop don't have a dime or quarter box. You have some great shops around you.
That Griffey rookie is a Tiffany, Thats a big card, get that graded!
Good stuff. I like it. Definitely worth it.
Badass binder for 20 bucks!!! Some great rookie finds as well. Thanks for sharing Jon. And as always I am jealous from all your finds! Keep well my friend!
Thanks for watching, John!
Great video, like always. Love your channel
Binder is a steal for $20. Nice video
Congratulations. Great Deal.
Wow that was terrific, only needed a Bagwell page to be perfect!
nice binder jon you did great man loved the acuna ...i went to the fleamarket this weekend found a pau gasol 2003 topps chrome rookie for a buck in a dollar box i know its basketball but i collect baseball basketball football so i was happy as crap and found three alfonso sorianos rookies from 1999 all for a buck i dont see them too often in the wild thank you for sharing your adventures with us jon
That’s awesome man. You gotta love those bargain finds! Never know what you’ll come across at a flea market. Thanks for watching.
Nice pull. I'm pretty sure those used to be mine. I lost my card collection of over 20 years in a storage unit in Virginia in 2009.
That would be pretty wild if that’s the same binder that was once in your collection.
I had 1100, 1200 cards just of Nolan Ryan (including duplicates). I was 11 when I started collecting cards. 32 when I lost them. So 21 years, but who knows for sure
That was a killer deal man! The singles were good but that binder was insane!
Like the chipper jones rookies and the acuna rookie was awesome. It was definitely worth the $20.
I can’t believe the Juan Soto is third prize...what a beautiful card🤙🏽straight 🔥🔥🔥
So many parallels and inserts worth a descent amount of money good job buying that.
Wow, you had a lot of awesome buys in this video. Congrats on those finds and thanks for sharing this binder with us
Appreciate you watching!
Dude! Outstanding prizes and contest @Ripping for Ripken’s
Thx Jon! One of my favorite card channels for sure, keep on truckin bro.
Appreciate it man. I really enjoy your channel! If I’m ever down your way I would love to join you in one of your adventures.
Good grab. Friend of mine gave me 6 binders with many of those cards in them. Can’t believe you just flipped over the Yogi Berra page.
Nice! I think I was just overwhelmed by everything. Much respect to Yogi though.
holy cow nice find with that binder! totally worth it!
Cool cards, hunting for deals is always fun!
I have that binder full of old Griffey’s! I guess the Griffey rookie and Acuna rookie were the best pickups you got there!

Thanks Rocks! Stay safe out there and keep bringing us all those cool relics!
Pretty awesome seeing someone do a binder break
Stumbled across your channel via my recommended page, having fun watching some of your new and older videos. I'd say it was worth the $20
Awesome, thanks for checking it out! Great to have you here!
Watching this at the end of 2024 back then that was a good score. Going by today's prices you made out like a bandit. Nothing over the top but a good score nonetheless
That Griffey Topps rc card looks like a reprint. I'm probably wrong. It could also be the Tiffany version
It might just be the reflection from the sheet, but from the back of the 89 Traded Griffey it looks like it might be Tiffany 👀
It definitely was Tiffany. I hope he still has it!
well worth it imo........................rain & snow
Nice pickup on the album for $20 - especially when the album and empty pages are worth at least $10.
I look for binders at yard sales...got 2 for $20/ea.....one card , paid for all ....
Nice binder the way i use to bind
THE PAST IS ALIVE RULES!!!
Thanks Mac! Appreciate you watching.
love seeing the old Molitor cards
huge brewer's fan
Great find Bro!
Take care.
Is the 89 Griffy traded a Tiffany
What a steal......great job
Great buy for 20. You can always sell off a lot of that in a future auction as well.
Agreed, I think a few will end up in the next auction soon.
Good deal! Can't go wrong with Griffey Jr.
Well worth the price. Great find.
Great pick-ups. That Cole is nice!
Not bad for 20 bucks out of the scoop that up to the Acuna rookie card alone was worth it
The Bo and Griffeys are great....yep..worth 20 for sure...
This man just called Topps Gallery Heritage...
That book was well worth the money with the new and the old good rookies and some cool cards.
I LOVE WEEK END RECAPS
Worth the wait! Nice selection of HOF cards!
Nice pickup that book has some beauts
Sweet pickup with that Cole refractor. Great find for $2!
That binder was definitely worth the 20 bucks! Great pick ups Jon!
Thanks Jay!
I can't believe you skipped right over that 1982 Donruss Yogi Berra without mentioning it's awesomeness. If I recall, the back of that card is just blank space on about 1/2 to 2/3rds of it.
Your weekend recap videos are still some of my favorites. Keep them coming
Very true
Thanks man! I really enjoy making them.
Super nice buy!!
Looked like that ‘89 Topps Griffey was the Tiffany version.
Ya it was worth it. I like the Cartoon card Ken Griffey Jr
Wow. 10 cents for Randy. Great find.
Nice folder pick up
Seriously just one card I could pick at random and it pays for it. Sweet grab man holy cow.
Man. A steal at $20. Great binder.
Sweet pickup!
Greinke Cards are super underrated. A fraction of the price of Scherzer and Kershaw, yet hes put up comparable stats. Nice pickups
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
The Griffy Jr and Randy Johnson rookies are awesome.
It was a good buy. But I like vintage cards more.
Wow I never have this luck. Even prepandemic card boom id go to estate sales and it would be things like 1990 upper deck wax box for $50
Any time you find a binder full of cards even if none are RC's it is worth it.
Great find on the album. Probably $75 worth of cards if not more in there.
Check that Topps Griffey Jr. It looked glossy. Tiffany??
Sweet binder!
Definitely worth it, especially with the Acuna RC!!
Those Food Fighters are the real heroes
That is an awesome find
I have that exact chipper jones rookie!!!
I am a card collector like you and I have gotten short and I would love to have those baseball cards
more like 120.00 binder. great find Jon.
11:53 , the Nolan Ryan page..that donruss 5000k card has an error version. Not sure the rarity or price tho..
What an awesome bunch of cards.
Thx for the great content!
Where did you get my collection?! LOL, nah, mines still on the shelf. Almost identical, but I have a whole binder for Bo Jackson. Definitely worth the 20!
Awesome! Can't go wrong with a bunch of Bo. Thanks for watching!
The king b is from the shredded beaf jerky chew cans
Just came across your channel. Just Subbed. Nice buy.
That Dream team Griffey and the heritage Frank Thomas was really cool!
