The 1973 - '80 year models had the round shaped headlights & the new optional single rectanglar headlights were introduced in the beginning of 1980. New optional dual rectangular headlights were on the 1981 - '87 year models while the single rectangular headlights from last year were standard.

It has a lot of 1981 - '87 parts like the frontside fenders & hood & it has a 1985 - '87 grille & headlight bezels too.
Kevin Richards I was wondering how it’s a 1980 but the front end looks like it’s newer like an 82. So you can change the front end from being single squared headlights to being the 2 stacked headlights and no curve in the front grill?
@@andresandraderamirez1039 back in 1973 when they went to that body style & 8 years later in 1981 they changed the styles of the hood, front side fenders, front bumpers, tailgate band, optional side molding, & interior to that there in the video. Also 1981 was the first year for the quadruple rectangular shaped headlamps on the Silverado packages which that truck there in the video has & 1980 was the first year for the single rectangular shaped headlamps also for the Silverado packages. If I'm not mistaking I think the 1973-1980 year models weighed 200 to 300 lbs more than the 1981-1987 year models because they had a little bit bigger size hood, front side fenders, & front bumper.
Kevin Richards nice, I’m into the quadruple headlights of the 81 but I found an 80 for sale and it’s a short bed single cab for $3k but I was wondering if I could transform it from single headlights to quadruple headlights by changing the grill, side fenders, and the hood to the 1980 c10?
@@andresandraderamirez1039 you probably can by like you said by first replacing the hood, front side fenders, that long skinny panel between the grille & front bumper, & front bumper & since the 1973-1980 year models had a little longer hood than the 1981-1987 models did, the '81-'87 ones had that vent thing between the winshield & hood where the windshield wiper arms come out at. That way the quadruple headlamps, bezels, & the 1981 grille would fit & probably have to replace a few other parts in the front too. Also 1981 was the year that all models started having inside hood release as standard & I think it was first introduced back in 1977 as a new option.

@@brandon7348 not to take anything away from this truck, because it looks amazing... But, no, in 1980 you had two head light options: single circle or single square. 1980 was the only year that this option was offered.

I'm Looking at the TCI 6x Transmission for both my 2001 Burb & the C-10, are You telling me that my Old Truck could Then be worth about 30 Grand?
