Feliks 5.66 will forever be the most legendary solve for me. It was the final and solve of Feliks' untouchable streak of 3x3 singles. It was the wr when speedcubing started to pick off and become a big thing. The reaction is legendary, the turning is just soooo satisfying and its one of the last WRs where even intermediate cubers can somewhat follow along and see each step of the solve

    • @ScoochCubing

@@ScoochCubing I think its mostly a case of when you started cubing to be honest. I realized that I don't really have a good reason for the 5.66 being the best other than the fact it was the first WR I saw, same way I don't really care for the 7.08 since it was already in the past when I started cubing.

i think the most iconic would be feliks' 4.73 it was insane when it happend even news stations (in australia) where talking about it and it was just an amazing time to be in the community when it happened also that mats valk was right next to him made it way crazier

    I'd put Jayden's 4.97 fail up there.
That's because the solution was actually VERY smart and also that it would've been a 3.63 which was years ahead of its time at that time.

nah wouldnt have been a 3.63, theres a slight delay on the timer display if thats what you were basing it on, it wouldve probably been a 3.9, especially considering he did the auf wrong, which is why he dropped the cube in the first place trying to fix it, still very impressive solve of course

Feliks Zemdegs 4.73 is my favourite. Everything is perfect about this solve:
-Broke Valk's WR by 0.01 second
-Valk sitting right next to him
-Kid screaming "Just as my SD card runs out"
-And the best part: Feliks has pyraminx in his pants
