But I think that Hania have touch a brain zone special for a few human being..For example in a lot of her composition, I can't help it, tears come to my eyes, especially when I see her expressions and feelings when she plays... For me she is a prodigy! and she don't have hands ..she have two ballerinas jumping on the keyboards..A prodigy..Thanks.
One of the only things I love more than Hania's playing is her delicate voice.

It's the beauty, the pain, the grief, expressed so sensitively, so quietly, and with such purity. You feel it in your soul. If I could only take the pain and the wounds away, I would in a breath. You still shine through it all. So very special.

the salt would corode everything beyond repair id say... Unless you gave it a good rince haha. I feel for the piano as well...

Her music is full of vibes/and emotions...also for the piano i think that maybe it can give a sea color in its sound.and finally it is not ocean is the aegean sea all the video shotted here in greece..maybe i went in most of the places in the video because iam greek :D

I love all your works, a number of which trigger my emotions like no other. Leaving is somehow so reminiscent of my experience returning from a coma a week after a TBI as a kid, that I ball nearly every time I hear it. It seems to hold a key, unlocking all the pain and angst nearly 35 years later, and in such a beautiful form. Thank you. I can't wait to see you live in Chicago later this year, and hope to hear Leaving live in person (I promise I'll contain myself;)
She touches me in the most profound of ways. Surreal. Peace.
I love this video, the way the images reflect the song. As long as she is not sure, she is playing her piano against the waves and endures the salty water, the wind and the cold. "Are you leaving?" is repeated like echoes in her head wherever she goes; battered by the waves but still holding on to her instrument. Then after it happens, she goes to higher ground with a smaller keyboard, diminished but still playing the main line of her melody. The piano, her former self, deserted, is crashing into the sea.

Dear All!
Finally I can share with you the video for my song 'Leaving'. I was extremaly happy to work again with a great team from Cracow: Mateusz & Jakub, responsible for 'Glass'. This time we visited Athens, where I performed in January.
The countryside location was deserted due to winter season. This very place and time turned out to be the ideal background for music and especially for Leaving.
The video is a symbolic tale of departure, of “leaving the world behind”, for which, however, both the destination and the motivation are unknown. The underlying phantasmagoric atmosphere of a fable or a myth alludes to the voyage of Odysseus; the narrative centres around the sea with its gentle but unfailing, incessant motion...."

Teledysk momentami nieco przypomina mi w klimacie kadry Nykvist’a u Bergmana.... a muzycznie bardzo subtelnie wypełnia przestrzeń w bardzo indywidualny, wrażliwy, odpowiednio minimalny sposób zaprasza do swojego świata... w którym czuje lekki wiaterek... trochę snuje się, a dźwięki pasują do (kraj) obrazu - teledysku...

Czyżby teledysk był nostalgicznym oraz luźnym nawiązaniem do filmu "Dwaj ludzie z szafą" w reżyserii Romana Polańskiego? Wyczuwam taką samą silną emocjonalną tęsknotę między Tobą, a dźwiękami pianina/fortepianu, co tych dwóch tragarzy z szafą, którzy ze wszystkich sił próbują sprzedać szafę - szukają tym samym akceptacji, zrozumienia, aprobaty dla ich inności. Przybywają do świata dla nich obcego, którzy OPUSZCZAJĄ nas tam, skąd przybyli - w morzu - w otchłani, w nicości, w czeluści.
Haniu - Twoja muzyka jest jak tych dwóch tragarzy z szafą - jest inna od tej, którą kreuje i żywi się współczesny świat. Świat nie zasługuje na Twoją twórczość, ale jednak jej potrzebuje. Bo Twoja inność jest jak te wszystkie piękne gwiazdy, które świecą na niebie. "Na jednej z nich istnieje kwiat, którego nie widać".

Thank You Gondwana Records for showing up on my feed with the the most incredible and inspirational artists, Hania Rani, in my long life... I plan on catching one of her live performances soon before she takes a break from touring... Leaving and Buka, which she usually plays them together, are my two favorites... I believe she is unmatched in her piano play by anyone living.

I knew Nils Frahm in 2015. I managed to listen to his music live in a fantastic concert still that year in Budapest. I discovered Hania Rani early this year, and I will attend her concert in Budapest in two weeks.
