You’re doing a grand job. If you finish, marvellous, if you don’t,who really worries about it other than you, I’m sure Billy if so grateful, he will love to have it back at anytime. Much love K🇬🇧❤❤
Hi Phil, there's a place called Barrington James at La Cheze in dept 22 Cotes D'Armor that has a host of LR/RR outside, could be worth a look for your project.
Lovely Phil I have absolutely no idea about cars except where to put the fuel. I just love watching you and hearing you explain what needs doing. Awesome.bon chance et bon courage👏👏👏👏❤❤
How will you treat the metals to prevent future rusting? I enjoy watching these video's. They're both entertaining and educational. It's fun learning how vehicles are designed and built. 👍👍👍
Philip, an idea, reach out to the Range Rover member association head, (Car Club) and see if they have any recommendations where to source parts quickly! If anyone knows, they will! All the best! Thomas!
The spares for old ones so much better then newer ones stuck in garages.Your progress rather then before stuck in the chateau and then the convent a couple years.
chances are a new panel will take some finessing anyway . it's rare they align perfectly . there's nothing wrong patching panels if cut and welded correctly ground smooth and seam sealed . perhaps you can template a piece of card stock and fabricate a panel for the rear inner wheel arch . i'm sure you'll get it nailed down ~ cheers
Great progress enjoying watching your videos I have never been able to find the inner wheel arch front extensions for the four door, So you are either faced with fabricating something (which is tricky) or modifying the 2 door extensions which are available. I am going to try this route and let you know if it will work in a couple of days. Pointless using second hand ones by the way. they will either be rotten through or totally destroyed during removal. Froggatts do list a four door panel which I purchased but for some reason on my car they just dont fit.
Keep plugging away Phil. There's a guy Dave Jones in the UK doing panel's and has spares too. Flits between the UK and Spain finding RRs. I got a rust free bonnet and boot from him for my 94 LSE
Question: do they have junk yards (a place where all the old cars go) there? If so you might be able to pick up pieces from there. It's either that or make the piece. lol That would be my thought anyway. You are doing great work. Have a great day
Still a fun episode! The timeliness is not important to me, just the project. Thank you for making and sharing this 💜 video!😮😊
Love it Phil! “24 Welds of Christmas!” HoHoHo🎄🎅🏻❄️🚙

As busy as Billy is, even if you finished today I doubt he would have time to drive it. Enjoy the process!

Deliveries, of whatever, are a struggle wherever you are. Not your fault.
You are 1 person, Billy has 4 working on the organ. Even if it's not done by Christmas you are still the winner! Hugs
God bless you for putting it back together 😊

Fingers crossed you get the parts you need before Christmas

Phil maybe Billy didn't save that piece so you wouldn't finish by Christmas on purpose, only kidding. You're doing a great job with a pile of rust 😂.
