Very Cool, Thankyou. Sorry to comment on 3 year old video, but I found this video very Helpful, Interesting, Informative and Entertaining, Thankyou. All The Best. Cheers
Since you didn't mention it, rubber and vinyl restorer works well for making the rubber pads on pedals look new again or at least significantly better .
This is my next project.. my pedals are starting to do that, and the volume knobs on my guitar amps drive me nuts for years! But I think I'm going to spray the knobs on the outside first before opening the amps, because my amps are not as easy to open as my pedals.
Great video, I did a mistake I put wd 40 in my boss pedals now become oily inside now phrone to dust , there's anything I can remove the oil residue or any chemical are safe to the pedal circuit board.
Will be doing a separate video for that. This was for those who did not want to remove the backplate and was mainly for newbies. Many of these Pedals have layers of PCB boards, so showing them how to clean the pots would require a certain level of skill and care.
@@alidilsher2567 Do not know of anyone there. In Delhi there is the Tone Door and in Bangalore there is a brilliant tech called Navin who will sort it out - +919036443588.
If I load a toneprint (Duff Chorus for example), if I turn off the pedal and use it the next day, the toneprint will be loaded or I have to beam it again?
Thanks, I'm going to get me some of this stuff tomorrow. My guitar knobs are making static noises when moving them and the sound is going from low to high as well lol. Stupid guitar.!!
Great tutorial for cleaning the pedals. Appreciate the efforts done by you.
Thanks for warning about the cleaner. Good video for anyone seeking to clean their pedal.
Thank you for your preparation! From knowing you spoken word content to laying out your supplies, you are outstanding in all the details. Well done!
Thank you so much!
This was the first video I saw on your channel and was happy to find an Indian creator creating guitar gear content. Love the tips for the cleaning.
These videos are really helpful to maintain your gears at a top notch condition. Most of the channels don't focus on these aspects. Thank you GGG
Awesome and most underrated concept covered well

I have never cleaned my pedals before. I should do it now. Thanks man.

Thanks for getting to the point and showing a great tutorial. I watched 3 or 4 similar-themed but terribly executed tutorials. Thanks man.~~
You're very welcome!

That red SG at the begining is truly a dream come true.
how would you clean corrosion from the metal footswitch
trying to clean inside electro harmonix pedal to fix crackling pots. how do I remove computer board to access them there are no screws
Would not suggest tampering with those. Take it to a tech who knows his way around that particular PCB.
Nobody has done it, at least i've not seen it cleaning up the pedals. Nice job man
Great video, I did a mistake I put wd 40 in my boss pedals now become oily inside now phrone to dust , there's anything I can remove the oil residue or any chemical are safe to the pedal circuit board.
Use the recommended contact cleaner
Thanks for the tips, great video!
Glad it was helpful!
Why didn’t you clean the vol and tone pots?

Thanks a lot! Very helpful. Gonna try this out on my TS808. The patch cable has been super crackly any time it moves of late
Glad it was helpful
Excellent video 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
any idea how to spray the pots inside a BOSS pedal?
Use a CRC cleaner without oil!
I just did it for the first time today and its like alien tech! Scary really, but súper fun!
You will get the hang of it.
can i fix running knobs or self fluctuating knobs by spraying crc 2-26 to it ??
Not to sure on that. On regular pots it works a charm. Have also used it on scratchy selector switches which really helped.
@@GuitarGearGyan thnks bro but its been 9 months so i have already changed my effects unit
Any alternatives for the Amp/Case cleaner?
The musicnomad ones works really well for us.
My pedal doesn’t our base it only lead tone! What can u help me ?
Not really sure what you mean by this?
Very nice! Thank you!
You're very welcome.
Hi.. Can I use Music Nomad amp and case cleaner on Line 6 POD surface ?
Would not recommend that and it may leave behind a residue which would get into the pots.
@@GuitarGearGyan thanks for the info..
Well is there anything you would recommend for cleaning Any multi effects pedal ?(POD HD500X in my case)
CRC

Once loaded and saved it should remain unless changed again.
Thank you
You are most welcome

Yes the same concept work on guitar pots as well.
