    FYI, I bought a Delkevic full exhaust for $370. Heads, midpipe, and can. Fits great, sounds amazing, and looks beautiful.

      Thanks. The other mods I've done that I didn't mention are clip on handlebars, rear lowering link, frame sliders, fender eliminator, flush mount front blinkers and integrated LED tail light/blinkers. Ride safe!

    Did a similar thing on my Fz6r, I just cut the entire snorkel out. Not to get any performance, but as you said, use the whole area of the filter. When I looked at it, it just had a darker spot around that pipe.

    Yeah the older R6 headers with a slip on works good, I have 03 R6 headers with an M4 slip on and it sounds insane. The pipe is uncomfortably close to the oil pan tho lmao

    It still makes that same little spot on the air filter doesn’t it 😝

    I have the same bike and I did exact same thing except I cut tip off and stuck long sawzall blade up in there and cut out alot of the can and welded AutoZone chrome tip on sounds great. I just ordered a performance chip on eBay it was only 40$ it says one hour or less to install diy and 10-15 rear wheel horsepower y'all check it out. Also just ordered new sprockets 15 front 49 rear. Should run mid 7's on 1/8 mile dragstrip now I'm hoping. It runs high 7's now

    Whats up brother! I myself have the same bike and same year as yours....I have a 2011 FZ6R Raven, with Two Bros Racing carbon fiber full exhaust system, Two Bros Racing fuel controller, Kawasaki ZX6R mirrors, DMP smoked flush turn singals, DMP smoked rear turn signals, DMP Fender eliminator, Yamaha FZ1 handlebars,TST industries frame sliders, and K&N high flow air filter with the air box mod as well.

      Very nice. Do you have a video on here of it or pics somewhere? I was wondering what I could do with the mirrors.

    • @lopezdad30
      @lopezdad30 7 років тому

      LOL yea those OEM rabbit ears, Yamaha put on for mirrors really are an eye sore.....buy some 2008 zx6r mirrors and they bolt right in with no problems! I've been wanting to put a video up showing my bike. Hopefully i can get to doing that soon. I do have pics of my bike i could send some to you if you like so you can see the mirrors.

    Awesome mod man! I have the same bike. Did you notice any performance gains from it?? Also if your in Las Vegas, my heart and prayers go out to the hurt and lost ones and your city.

      Thank you, we appreciate that. The victims were from all over so due to that I'm sure it's affected a lot of the country. I'm sure it'll affect tourism here for a bit though. There's already been some concerts and conventions cancel or reschedule for later. I didn't notice any performance improvements from these mods. Just improved sound. I put up another video (Check it out!) with the new full Delkevic exhaust system ($385), K&N air filter and Power Commander 5. Now I'm feeling a good power improvement, great sound and a LOT less heat coming up from the bike. Thanks for commenting and if you know of any other Las Vegas UA-camrs let me know so I can try to ride with them! Thanks! Ride safe!

    someone did this to mine somewhere along it’s life, and the filter still looks about the same.

      Yeah, it really is just a good way to fry your valves for being too lean; unless if you and a Fuel Controller.

    Dude very risky move, working in there cutting stuff without covering the throttle bodies, Always cover up your throttle bodies to be safe, glad you noticed the piece go down there though, could have ruined your day

    Hi, nice mods what handle bars do you have on your bike? Where they easy to install and is there any noticeable difference in the ride/handling
    Thanks

    • @vegasrockets4033
      @vegasrockets4033  6 років тому

      Thanks Paul. I believe they're Woodcraft. I don't know how hard it was because the shop did it with some other mods. They had to pull the top of the shocks up to clip the bars onto them which lowered the front. So I had them put a lowering link in the back to even it out so the geometry wasn't thrown off. It feels pretty good to me. Also the aftermarket brake and clutch levers had to be rotated up a little to clear the fairing. Not too much and it's not uncomfortable. I don't believe there's any handling difference, but I like the looks better. Ride safe! Also, I'm about to upload another video about a messed up road law that effected our family. If you could share it that'd be great. Thanks.

      Great video. Thanks.
      nice bike. I have this one too is incredible. Great performance on the race track but also does great at road for short or long distances.
      I want to mod the bars. I just can't find the right fit. I purchased some on eBay but didn't fit well. Can you help us asking with your shop what model and size the installed on yours?
      Keep posting videos

    the FZ6"R" really seems like a travesty compared to the original FZ6.
