    Thanks for the video and the memories. It is great to see all the old tractors and hear those old two cylinder John Deeres. It sure brings back a lot of memories of the good old days.

      +fergie35X The Half Century of Progress Show is an awesome event for tractor fans. We have combines shelling corn, tractors plowing, crawlers plowing and Prairie tractors plowing videos that will be added to the Big Tractor Power channel soon.

    Heck, Terry, I drove from Downeast Maine (East of Bar Harbor) to see it! Great show, you really should try to make it.

    Wonder how old the picker at 13:15 is? It must have been made before they developed the later arrangement of the elevator, eh? Very cool!

    I should do this at my farm, I could get my crops harvested and fields plowed and people would pay to watch and participate.

    What happens with the full cobs after they're picked?

    • @defuse56
      @defuse56 7 років тому +1

      You can either grind them up on the cob for feed, or you can shell them. And if you want to take it a step further, you can run them through a hammermill, which gives you ground kernels as feed.

    these old tractors had a style of their own not like the ones of today where they look all the same

    This is what I like to see. Classic tractor guys bring there classics to shows and put them to use in the fields. They still use them for what they were built for. Classic car guys only bring there cars out a few times a year to show off at car shows park the there and not use them for anything else. The cars are a wasted collection.
