Dota 1 sentinel (radiant) creeps look like dota2 furion(natures prophet) treants and scourge (dire) creeps looks like niax ( life stealer). Its easy to differentiate, the only confusion is if you dont play regularly you get confused between team and enemies during team fights due to everyone having green hp bars

Its undead Vs elf tree soldiers which is very different. You are not just used to it on a glimpse. Also, the colors are red and green very different.
