I made sure to save this video for future reference. Linings used to intimidate me but after doing a couple, they aren't too bad. Great tutorial. Thank you.
Thank you so much...glad it'll be useful. I often find I forget how to do these things, so it's great to be able to save and come back to it 😃 xx
Great tutorial...I will save this to use when needed! Thanks!

Thank you so much for showing how to pull the back bits through the shoulders. So many videos skip this part, and it’s quite scary to think of doing that if the shoulders are narrow. Reassuring to know that it is possible!

Thanks for sharing will save this as my go to

😃🇬🇧 xx
Lovely tutorial and love what your wearing. Is it me made?
Thanks so much Carol, glad you liked it. Yes my dress is the Noor Wrap dress by Fabrics Store. I've put a link to the pattern in the description box. I omitted the sleeves and bias bound the armholes. It's a free pattern to download too xx
Great tutorial. Love the fabric. Where did you buy it?
Thanks so much, glad it was useful. The fabric was from flamingo fabrics a few years ago now, but they might still have it as I know they were selling it for quite awhile xx
Lovely fabric and thank you for the video! I am yet to pick up sewing a dress. Usually what type of fabric is used as lining may I know? Thanks
Thank you, I love the fabric too, it's so happy ☺️. I would say it depends on the fabric you are using for the outside of the dress...but usually something lightweight like a cotton lawn would work perfectly. For this dress I'm making I've just used some old curtain lining which is a lightweight cotton. You can sometimes use the same fabric for your lining as for your outer fabric, but it would depend on the thickness, as you don't want to add too much bulk. Hope that helps xx
@@sewlittletime thanks Karen!
