Flamer weapons always ignore cover. The special ability of the Hellhound just takes away your ability to get cover from anything else.

My adventure with 40k started with 4th edition and I never really moved past it. I tried reading the rules for the 5th when I got Dark Vengance, but I didn't even get through all the Universal Special Rules (there were way too many). Overall, I have no idea what the hell was going on. The rules making it so that the HUGE MONTROUS PRIMARCH couldn't be targeted because there was a tiny dude slightly behind it made me laugh to tears. In a way, these rules seem more wacky than 6th edition fantasy (but I mean that in a good way). Still, it was very enjoyable to see someone having fun with a game with absolutely beautiful models (I also really like tanks, and my first army was the Ultramarines) fighting on amazing terrain. I will be most keen to see more 40k.
PS. Rogal Dorn is probably my least favorite tank from Imperial Guards, I still like it, but my favorite is Macharius, Vanquisher and Vulcan variant.

Shaggy, have you tested out swapping girlyman for calgar and 2 vitrix then joining them with biologis and 6 aggressors and running as raven guard so you can deep strike mega Chad blob in the middle? Also, imo, suppressors and eradicates and lancer are a trap! Get some t7 centurians
Hahaha I keep putting Calgar in with aggressors and get shouted at not to! I do love him tho. Suppressors agreed but I do love my eradicators.

The second shooting phase was painful to watch, please in future take a moment and think through your order of operations.
Firstly shooting the Dorn before the punisher when the Punisher could only see the Aggressors and not even the whole squad, but the Dorn could see them all and the tank is a decision you should never make.
Secondly shooting low damage weapons at (the stubber) into a 3W unit first when you have Damage 3 weapons to come (The autocannon and the melta in melta range) is just really poor play as you are throwing those wounds away when the D3 weapon finishes them off.

Great game but I'm baffled by why the Dorn could shoot anything in the first shooting phase? it surely couldn't draw LoS to anything unless you were saying it could shoot through windows?
Moving up and around the buildings opened up more lines of fire
It was shooting at the Marines behind the ruin maybe you didn’t see them? It was very clear view for it
