    Yes exactly Dan!
    The over- analysis of the pains , the triggers and the useless upsetting WHY- now, WHy- me? only gave me more nervousness and frustration..
    What a hyper- vigilant system needs is calm reassuring just like you teach here.
    I’m not bothering my boiling brain with that kind of clueless research..I let it calmly recalibrate.
    Sun is out in France, freezing but gorgeous, gonna enjoy every minute of it!
    Happy Saturday you and everyone ❤

    I remember in the very beginning overanalyzing every single symptom and keeping a detailed symptom journal. While it was helpful for me to describe things to the doctors and rule the really bad stuff out, eventually I ditched the journal because it was just fueling the figuring it out spiral. I think it's natural for the human brain to want to have a reason for why things happen, and sometimes I'll just give myself a simple reason just to get myself to chill out and move on, even if it may not even be the real reason.

    Hi Dan and all. Thank you for another very valuable video. I am practicing replacing the Why with How. How can I better take care of myself, how can I navigate and use the knowledge I have learned more consistently and so on. It is freeing knowing that I don't have to figure everything out. I am staying in that calm confident loving and secure zone during a challenging period as of late. I am proud of myself for how well I am doing and celebrate that everyday. My brain will catch on eventually and realize I am truly ok and it will let go of the symptoms. Love and hugs to all keep the faith stay on that path of recovery as narrow as it may be or seem.❤ ❤

    100% of my pain flare ups are triggered by space weather, like solar flares; once i built a shielding box, the pain goes from a ten to 0 pain in a minute or so once i go in it. Works for my wifes seizures and migraines too

      @@PainFreeYou it is amazing, like flicking a switch... maybe that Harvard study July 2022 "solar flares activate endothelial and inflammation" may explain the science behind it. I have been testing as many kind of medical episodes I can get my hands on for the last ten years (Friends and family), it seems certain pain types it works for and others it don't. For the longest time I could not figure out why it stops a Fibromyalgia pain flare up (my wife has Fibro also) and I found another previously unknown space weather factor that triggers episodes. (Rapid modulation of the magnetospher)

    This is a good one for me today as I had paramedics out. I really thought I was sick (a virus kicking my heart into overdrive ) as my heart raced 2 nights ago for about half and hour to an hour. So I panicked. I now know I’m fine physically but I have fear of it happening again as heart racing (adrenaline dump/ surge) feels scary. What can I do to stop the fear ? As I can’t stop myself being fearful of going to bed. Saying that it’s happened before and eventually the fear got less and less but only after a few weeks of no more occurrence. Take care Dan and thanks for all you do for us xx

      Write a note to yourself that says my heart is fine, sleep is safe, etc etc and read it everyday. Or I like to treat my fears like unsolicited comments from someone trying to gaslight me. I had what I “thought” was a knee injury… woke up with knee pain so bad and fear and anxiety had me barely able to walk. However in the back of my mind I knew I didn’t injure myself but Got checked out the Orthopaedic doctor said no concern yet. So I was TERRIFIED to go back to the gym for fear id hurt myself but I’m like wait… how can I hurt a knee that is fine? So if I get a thought like oh no I might hurt my knee… I say oh awesome I love to break my body doing exercises!! Or if I feel fearful I’m like “well I might hurt my knee I might not, guess we will see.. “ like the TOTAL OPPOSITE of what my brain wants me to think or say. Sometimes when I felt the pain or discomfort I’d say to my brain “ cool story bro… thanks for your opinion but it’s not needed I’m ok” and keep doing what I was doing. I was able to take the pain down to a 1 or 2 from a 10 and I’m already back to leg day at the gym after a few days. Every single time no matter what I experience I give the SAME responses. That’s the key I think is to never falter on your response. I was saying it through the pain at times but never deviating from my calm response

    Dan, what if you know what caused the symptoms. I have lumbar and leg symptoms when walking or standing to long, so I decided to just walk more. Well it seemed to feel better when I started and managed to go a half mile without any problems, but the next day wow! Just seemed like I couldn’t do anything without discomfort. I don’t want to stop but moving around is really hard right now. Any thoughts?

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  10 місяців тому +1

      The walk isn't what caused the pain. It's the brains perception that caused the pain to go up. Suggestions? Safety. All the concepts I teach will help here. Expect the best. If the pain goes up, don't panic, reassure yourself. This video explains delayed reaction pain.
