My 1st. Yankees Stadium Game, I saw Micky Mantle get a base hit off of Louie Tiant in 1968. I was 9 years old. Watching and cheering The Great Bobby Murcer, Thurman Munson, Don Mattingly, Bernie Williams and The Core Four, has been a Yankees fan dream. Then to be able to watch the greatest of all of all time, from his first major league hit in 1996 to his last hit in Sept. 2014 There's been no other greater thrill.than to watch Derek Jeter's entire career. Now today i'm 61 years old, and i'm waiting to watch Derek's Cooper's town induction speech into The Hall of Fame. What a lucky guy i've been to be able to watch The greatest team w/ The greatest Ballplayer. Thank you God for letting me witness a piece of New York Yankee History

The part where you realize at age 18 that one day no matter how famous you are .... you will walk off that field after you’re last game, wether it’s highschool, or college, or MLB. It will end one day, make the most of it because you will miss the game that has done so many good things , it clears you’re mind , teaches you how to play as a team, but most of all, it teaches you re2pect.
I’ll never forget where I was, and what I was doing while watching this live on TV. My favorite player, and this moment still hits so hard. Thanks for the memories, Captain. Can’t wait to watch the induction today!

I was there that night. They were selling shoe box time capsules with Jeter items that night. It came with a hat, t-shirt, two pins, and a baseball. I added my paper ticket and a photo I took of him tipping his cap to the crowd. I was there last night for the HOF plaque unveiling. I added my ticket, a picture of me next to his plaque, the replica plaque they were giving away, and two more t-shirts to the box.
