- Getting ready for Go WILD!! This is the yearly planner conference that takes place in a new city each year. This year they are heading to Dallas, and so am I. When you register, you get this welcome box with your badge and goodies. Let's checkout everything that is inside as I prepare for my first Go Wild Event.

Heck yeah 🥳 It's gonna be such a great time! Looking forward to getting my welcome box when I get there, haha 😝💜 I know it was already mentioned, but I was EXACTLY the same in terms of confusion when it came to the washi cutter. I'm like "...why they giving me a metal business card? That seems a little extra..." 😂 ~the more you know~
so glad I am not alone thinking it was a metal business card. Looks like I should ave read the paper that clearly saidf washi cutter
the box contents seem very geared to a more female audience. or a more feminines one at least. even though I am female, I wouldn't see myself using any of those stickers. maybe it's just this box, I don't know since I'd never heard of it before Jess went last year. but it seems like a more neutral concept would be more inclusive. just my thoughts.
There are a lot of other neutral concepts but they're still growing out of it I think. Each year they do more to try and include masc and non-binary folks for example, this is the first year that they're including pronouns on the badges. In particular those stickers are from a very floral oriented brand which is Live Love Posh. It's not always my cup of tea either as a non-binary but femme presenting planner. But yeah.... Their inclusiveness is still a work in progress for sure.
@@AxisOAnarchy ah, well thanks for the reply about it. Yes, they definitely need to be more inclusive, but at least it sounds like they're making some progress with that. They should consider their brands more carefully though, as it can and probably does make people feel left out.
@@dancooper-jones The brand aspect is a difficult thing I think as they're sponsors. I'm not sure of the exact process one goes through to be a part of the badge box but I know for sure my personal fave pieces were from Krissyanne Designs (the Wild in Dallas sticker), Simply Gilded (the gold holo foiled Dallas stickers), and OnceMoreWithLove (the washi) because they are a bit more neutral and within my aesthetic.
Yeah.... i mean, I was 1 of about 5-10 guys there. I know I'm not the demo - but i felt similar

I'm curious, have you have considered making your own products? Or products geared toward men? What would you want to see in products geared toward you? Not lipstick and flowers, I assume. :-) I'd love to introduce my boys to journaling, so I appreciate your channel. It just seems like there's a big void in the marketplace for journaling supplies geared toward men. (And toward me since I'm not a flowery person either. lol)
I have considered it but I’d have no idea how to actually start making a thing. Also, this is all a hobby for me, so getting into a business might create more chaos than fun. 🤩 but I dream of it

I wanted to go so bad but I took a three week vacation a few months ago, so I couldn't get away with it. lol I will happily take any swag that you don't want off your hands for you though. :)
