I think it's great you've managed to get a newbie interested in the sport denny, as soon as people hear the word gun they imagine the worst case scenario where as the vast majority of us are extremely conscious to act responsibly. I've been a shooter of air weapons for 45 years and even had a few years using 5.56 military weapons. Should be fascinating to see how ya neighbour gets on.
Really liking the idea of following your mate on his journey into airgunning. I hope you've warned him it'll get expensive though ?. LOL Also, how would the podccast work with camera shy folks such as myself that don't want to appear on camera ?. Besides that, I have the perfect face... For radio !. 😉
Another great vid , great idea getting a newbie into the sport/hobby and filming the progress and the pellet testing ,IHUNTER do some pretty nice test packs I had a selection of the QYS in .177 when I got M4 impact had some nice results but it really likes JSB heavy's 😁👍👍👍👍
@@Ratsinthereticles streamlined heavy's 9.56 grn I found to give the best results with the exception of the QYS training 8.18 grn also did really well can't wait for your findings 👍👍👍
It's great introducing someone to airguning you get excited with them it's easy to get complacent about things sometimes..after running through the basics with my middle daughter it took her all of 10 minutes to consistently hit 15mm spinners at 15m rested with the rm8..now she thinks she's Annie Oakley 😂..cheers Denny great content and loads to look forward to especially the podcasts 👍

Will be interesting to see what the barrel polishing process is, or do you mean to just clean the barrels and not polish? Polishing I would use as last resort for barrels that are extremely pellet fussy and appear inaccurate for no other reason. Since you seem to have an accurate rifle, polishing that barrel will likely do very little and always the potential to do damage during the polishing process if it is too heavy handed. Good luck!

Can guarantee with the barrels polished groups will tighten up and in my experience any pellet fussy rifle will be less so mate
