One thing I always loved was the relationship between Adam and Stuart. Stuart had some form of slight brain damage. I remember when Hayley and Mateo had Lorenzo, and there was an issue with his oxygen, and Hayley was afraid that he would be like Uncle Stuart. She loved Stuart, but she didn't want her son to go through what he did, with kids making fun of him, and how Adam had to fight for Stuart all the time. Stuart was Adam's Achilles Heel, and made him more human. If it had not been for the creation of Stuart, David Canary's Adam probably would have been killed long before! One time, David was asked if he had to give up playing Stuart or Adam, which would he choose? He said neither, because without one there was no other. Of course, it wasn't too long after Stuart's death that Adam left. David Canary was a true gem. RIP David.
Such a moving scene! Heartbreaking. I also recall a similar scene from a few years before when they thought Stuart was dead (he wasn't) and Adam was at the grave.
I always thought that Stuart's condition was the result of a nervous breakdown after the death of their sister, Lottie (Charlotte), who committed suicide when Palmer Cortlandt dumped her...Stuart was more close to their sister than Adam was...
Pika I think it was Ross who did it but Stuart went to Prison for him. He was locked up in The West Wing and Ellen Shephard's Granddaughter Bonnie saw him if I remember.
I think stuart was brain damaged somehow, and if I recall correctly, they had him hidden in the mansion for years, rather than institutionalize him, because he threw a rock at their step dad and killed him or it was something with palmer courtland. Pretty sure that is the background.
@@lorififield593 They grew up in Pigeon Hollow, Va., along with their Sister Charlotte (aka Lottie) where considered to be "Trashy" Stuart reminded Adam of that one time. He lost some oxygen when he was born and although he wasn't brain damaged he was a bit slower than Adam. pika23 you are right but I believe it was Ross who did it and Stuart took the blame. Locking him away kind of reminded me of when the Dollanganger Kids were locked away in Flowers In The Attic.
David was phenomenal!

It’s amazing how much they look alike.
I can't believe it either - however Canary was so moving as Adam during this.

I don't know if Stuart had an exact disability. I think he was just a bit slwo due to his years in isolation.
Oh well Adam had Stuart locked up in the West Wing of the mansion for years.
This was pointless adam and stuart is the same guy why is he crying over that :D
