I'm a sax player trying to play jazz guitar. I want to play guitar because I love it and because I want to experiment with a poliphonic instrument like the guitar. And this is a great point to start to "understand" the guitar. Thank you very much! You are great!
Thank you, Brent! Terrific teaching. I like the way you talked about the voicings, showed us where the fingers go (A little bit more light on your hand would be helpful) and you showed the name of the chord. A nice variety. I just received another copy of Don Comanda's "12,000 + Chords for the Guitar" which I've used for years. I won't go into it because I don't wanna step on your toes. If you don't have it, look it up. I'm sure it would be another great tool for you! Thanks, I'll look you up again. Bill

Hey Daniel, yes, it's always helpful to have some sort of understanding of a polyphonic instrument like piano or guitar. Glad you found this helpful!
Thanks much Brent. Have been listening to your podcast for a while and really appreciate these chord forms. Great lesson.

The older I get I like jazz more. I like the way you teach. Nice colours
Thanks Brent. Here's a thought for a future video: how about some comping rhythms for guitar, and maybe also piano.
Thanks for the suggestion John!

It's an Ibanez Artcore with a wood bridge!
Wow what a cool guitar! From which year is it? The fretboard looks very well used 🤪
Hey Tina, thanks! Not too old, only about 15 years or so. But the fretboard is well used!
I follow on with what Bobby said, great video learn't great chords. Thanks

Great video but you've gotta slow down, leave the chord charts up for longer than 3 seconds
