Gaaahh! I always try to look away when she releases new lid lusters but they always manage to creep into my cart. Lol. I love the aesthetic of this brand.
Yeh it's the combination of aesthetics and how the products wear which just resonate with me! I want to get out of the collectors mindset. But i told myself that i don't need to do this for the kajals and lid lustres hahahah. I figure these two should stop my craving to collect!

Its one of those.... no fuss bronzers. No fancy shimmer, no crazy formulation but it always looks amazing. And the packaging helps with the entire experience. Its a commitment coz this bronzer is large! So enough product for your money. I think its worth it. Since you get two colors its something i can use throughout the seasons.

I happy to report that even with the price tag I am not disappointed AT ALL. I believe in quality over quantity and I'm thrilled to have gotten rid of almost everything and added this brand. The Mascara is not my favorite but I'm super picky and it's not bad. Otherwise chefs 💋 too bad I ordered b4 the 15% off sale. Ouch!! Could have saved a pretty penny but o well. I don't regret it one bit

Maddy Leuk! It took a while before my channel found likeminded Dutchies but I am so happy there is a community in the Netherlands that likes the same makeup as I do.
So this question is becoming my most asked question. So much so, I think I might have to do a dedicated video on this question alone. Here are my Thoughts. Its going to be a long comment.
VBB Lid lustres are sort of a hybrid cream/pressed shimmer mix. when i put my finger in these it feels putty and wet like, but it is nowhere like a Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerise. There is a base pigment and shimmer particles. it looks chunky, but blended on the lid i dont feel like it is as chunky as it looks in swatches. In my bathroom lighting you can see how many shimmer particles are in here. The shimmer particles and base pigment can differ a lot. In the case of Tea rose we have a rose color with golden shimmers. Each are infused with a crystal of some kind. If you are into that, you can go wild! Shelf life is 2 years. So extremely long for a putty like product. These liked to be picked up with a finger.
The LE liqui lurex shadows are liquid shadows so they have a standars shelf lif of 6 months. i use mine ofr longer, but worth mentioning. These are opaque and there are so many finely milled shimmer particules they almost look metallic upon application. Blended out you can tell they are packed with shimmer and shine and in the sun these look Amazing with captial A. They are extremely long wearing. The color choices are wearable but most of them very unique in undertone. I can use these with finger or brushes and it looks great. 5 second eyshadow look. Great for my office days.
These are very different in formula and also in colors. LE is great in curating colors for specific undertones. VBB is great with curating colors for multiple skintones, VBB is less creative with colors. Very "on the nose," you know a gold, a taupe, a rose - but this is VBB brand. Wearable colors.
I have both and wear both consistently.
LE favorites are Emily and Anjelica
VBB favorites are Chiffon, Tea Rose and Honey.
@@sonia.butler Thanks for the reply! So many options these days. I have tried one of LE’s Lurex formula in Liza for the holidays last year and i was in LOVE! I really enjoy this formula and want to try Anjelica, Zora, Maya, all of them! Hahaha those colors are really up my alley, the shelf life sucks but i would also use it longer. I have yet to try the Lid Lusters from VBB! I am a one and done eyeshadow type of girl, so these look great. Need to make a decision. 😩 LE’s palette’s look also lovely.

Its difficult to say coz my makeup preferences have changed as well, but i do enjoy all of the products mentioned in this video.
I use the contour Stylo a few times a week, but i love the WA more..... so maybe 6th place or tied 5th?
Use weekly
5th place the Bronzer. I still usd this weekly or at least bi weekly.
4th. I love the VBB golden primer altho its hella expensive. I wanna repurchase it for BFS. Use almost daily when i have it
3rd. Eyeliners are still a go-to for me

2nd. Eye wear trench and pecan i use weekly. Trench i use soooo much. Is the reason why theyre so high up
1st. I still love the glosses. Use them weekly.
So i think these would be my top performers. This year i am much less into eyeshadow but honorable mention the lid lustres.
Sonia what mac foundation shade are you? I am trying to get an idea if we have the same skintone beecause of the blush.
Its been a hot minute since I tried MAC but last time I was an NC25. In simple terms i often look for Light Medium Neutral Warm foundations. I hope it helps!

@@LittleMakeupChannel nooo never deleting comments unless they are really mean. Bronzer undertones is indeed difficult. Maybe your skintone is cooler or olive toned? I am warm in tone so bronzers often are not difficult to love for me.

I have actually made a case to have one for my subscribers. But I am too small of an audience!
I bought the Satin Kajal Liner less than a month ago in Olive and loved it but have not been using it every day. I tried to sharpen and lengthen it with the sharpener they sent with it but it just does not work! Am I missing something here? Is it supposed to twist up to be able to use more of the pencil part or is it just very short?
The sharpener is very short! If you want the long tip with a sharp tip the Laura mercier sharpener is bomb orrrr a regular pencil sharpener. This formula is a little more fragile so regular sharpeners can break the tip easier so be gentle. At least that was my experience. I had one of those typical aluminum HB sharpeners. The VBB sharpener I use for my lipliners btw.
Thank you very much for your prompt answer. I am stuck abroad and cannot get into the London store to be shown what to do or buy another one. Is the surround of the formula plastic as it doesn’t look like wood?
Luckily I found that I had a Chanel sharpener where I am and that worked straight away! I am going to try putting the liner in the fridge or freezer for a short time before I sharpen it again as I am somewhere warm and hopefully that will harden the formula a bit.
