People dumber than you are getting filthy rich with coding - seriously.
One of the biggest lies we tell ourselves is that coding is only for smart people - and especially that coding and making a ton of money with it is only for smart people.
But that is absolutely false - and this is not just a coding thing either, some of the richest people I know are not all that smart.

As a passionate computer science student, I agree with him... If you want to be good at programming then start building personal projects that interests you and learn required technologies to make it work and publish your work so that people can get to know about your work

So I started learning programming 2 and a half years ago. I got lucky and got a job in IT, but I am not a programmer. Now I know a lot of stuff but I don't have a project finished because I know I cannot finish it at the standards I have. So you, in this video, just narrate my programming journey :D

    Its so relateable.
I have made so many projects with react js. But still think am not good enough to apply for jobs. That perfection thing is so annoying, its so much difficult to pull myself out of it. Also that perfect code from the beginning damn its so me.
Thanks for pointing these out. ❤

Im trying to learn react but I feel that doing tutorials like in linkedin or scrimba and stuff even if Im doing stuff on my vscode im getting bored. Should I just pick a project and do it even if I just know the basics of React?

IF you also build a complex project to show for the skills you learn then yes (I teach how to do this inside too)

I just started my first python class at university. I'm having such a hard time based on the book they provided us with for the class that I ordered a physical book. The zybooks are trash. It comes in tomorrow. I know that the reason why I went to college to become a software engineer was not to learn, but so it looked better on the application to attach I am an undergrad student. I'll be done in 2025 and I started in 2023.

thank you for this video. In all programming languages I have a preference for the Python language. Meanwhile I'm working on a project that can play streaming radio, in which you can only search for radio stations by name or by country.
it's a desktop application. on which site I can earn money with this app

Lol, yea I started to realize the problem after watching some videos by others. Self-inflicted oversaturation and devaluing. HOWEVER, those who get into it solely for the money usually end up getting out of it anyways. Those with no interest in the stuff but stuck with it most likely got a family to feed. As another youtuber put it, it's a weird race to the bottom because of stuff like AI and this "anybody could do this and make 6 figures in 6 months to a year without a degree" mentality being spread 😅. Probably make more money doing an actual trade skill if your goal is money, but that don't get a lot of shine

I agree with most what you said, however I have to disagree with your definition of 'smart' and 'dumb', cuz u literally explained what a dumb person would do and said thats the smart persons way and then what a smart person would do as the dumb person lmao, a smart person isnt always a nerd, infact its the person who knows when to stick to the rules, think theoretically and when to focus on the practical skills. Nerds arent smart, theyre just theory junkies, those who dont study or are 'lazy' as u explained tend to be actually smarter. “I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.” ~Bill Gates.
